Campaign Notes, Rules to watch for.
The HBZ number of 1 (for many of you) is in regions, not in action points.  If a Royal Road of some kind is built then the range is extended as normal.  Army units can't be built outside of that zone.
NFP Support
This rule will take place soon.  I want to make sure and give every player a turn or two of having that "Army NFP Support" line listed on their sheet and the definate rule posted in a rulebook and on the web before I finalize using it.
Army Agro Consumption
At present there is a good deal of discussion about Horses, Wolves, etc having an added Agro Consumption cost factoring in that a Mount will need to eat as well as the Rider.  Once I figure out a decent way of doing this, perhaps by doubling the amount used to calculate Agro Army Conspumption for those units I'll let you know.
Migration
Two forms of Migration now are in place.  Forced and Incentive based.  Others may occur but those are strictly from the GM's standpoint.  With a Forced Migration you basically round up the people and move them using troops, etc.  In some instances given the nature of the relationship with the race, etc. a people can be voluntarily moved from one location to that of one of their liking.  Those are Incentive based Migrations.
Slave Revolts
Future builds using unsupervised slaves will run into challenges.  Many nations within the campaign have this type of economy, but few are ensuring they have the necessary troops in the regions in which the slaves are being used.

The Rumor Mill for Turn 5
Northern Geographic Region:
Pirate Attack
Buccanears land near the Melea Coast, but are warded off by a small armada of 20 Warships flying the Banner of Salria.

Sess Pool resurgance
Orcs which were thought to have migrated elsewhere make their presence known again as new armies and leadership appears to have brought them out of their semi lethargic state.

Goblin bodies wash ashore
After several hours of collecting pieces it is a mystery as to who fed the sharks with what is guessed at several hundred goblinoids.  Whatever happened to them is a mystery as the bodies were too bad to determine a cause of death.

Central Geographic Region:
Military Readiness
Of the known ground forces in Huahn, the largest concentration of Standing Armies is here at the crossroads of North, South, East and West.  The use of these armies in some capacity does not seem to be deterred either as various clashes have taken place over the past 5 years.

The Slayer slain
The blast from a explosion of some sort is rumored to have taken the life of the Orc King known as the Slayer.  His people remain relatively quiet and a Witch Doctor of some influence with the tribe seems to be speaking for the King.

Response
As Goblin armies hammer local populations the Lizardmen decide upon retaliation of sorts and take the Goblins of Sekhaen prisoner.  The taste of goblin is said to be too "ssstringy" to bother with so it is not known what is to be done with them.

Desert deserted
A substantial population of goblin kin appears to have dissapeared from Merbuut, where they went only the Goblins probably know.

Eastern Geographic Region:
Cavavan Routes
The Old Empire and the New Republic got a dose of good fortune when many local merchants turned out to help with their own manpower and gold to help construct the longest known sanctioned overland route in Huahn.

Hostile Orc Migration
Dwarven patrols see increased activity amongst the orcs near the Ninus Drift.  Their hostility seems to have taken purpose now and it is only to what nation they will attack or break through that is the question.  Of course axes are sharpened and armor straps checked more frequently during the winter months.

Monster spotted by Nu'jree
Speculation runs rampant as Gilbert Pivtanol, the mayors son reports repeated sightings of a twisted magical creation.   At first it is considerd a flight of fancy until several folks step forward describing a cross between a Centaur and a Goblin.  It goes so far that several Nu'jree make sure to have spears and other home made weapons nearby.

Bay of Gargantium
Sailors anchored to what they thought was a large section of reef got a surprise the following morning.  It appears their ship was far off course from the Monsterous Sea Turtle they had accidentally hooked with the anchor.  A section of ship was torn away as the creature dove taking the anchor and the ship with it.  Luckily, the large chain attached to the vessel broke.  Unlucky for three sailors nearby as the broken chain whipped back and killed them where they stood.

Western Geographic Region:
Persistence
Orc tribes mounted an offensive this time that could not be stopped.  All in their path were destroyed or enslaved at the headwaters of the Szlo River.

2 Pound Nugget
Dwarven prospectors in Ban Rab supposedly came away with a huge nugget taken right out of a small mountain stream.  Regardless of the validity to the rumor the Dwarves nearby prosper like few others.

Natal Pass
King Alfonso IV attempted to take the Natal Pass from Orcish hands.  The task was more daunting than he realized and his forces limped to the border after being nearly routed by very solid resistance.  The good side was that he had survived as had a good portion of his own forces.

Broken Nose & Skull Bender
As happily as a Goblin couple can be the two are joined to form a lasting alliance.  They hope for a pair of twin male whelps who they can call Nose Bender and Broken Skull.

Southern Geographic Region:
Nu'jree near the Jungles
Wee Folk in Honey Pool get a rare peak at Nu'jree ships as they travel into port from the Barren Wastelands.  Of course an Elven captain aboard a Nu'jree vessel sparks a great deal of interest but after the initial excitement wears off everythings quickly returns to normal.

Quartz Fortresses of Evenstar
Mysterious yet typical of the Elven race, twin Palaces thrust up from the shores of the Xantilla Brina and the Hicus Sea.  Sailors speak of the fragile, yet everlasting look to the glistening pink and white stone towers.  Regardless of appearance Spear and Coral Point are by far the largest of what could be called Fortresses known to exists except perhaps those built by Dwarven hands.

Serpent Idealism
Far up the Serpent River human cities and villages display many statues and monuments to Dragons.  The idols appear to be growing in popularity and size.  It is said that the largest city is modeled after a gigantic coiled serpent.  Lizardmen from nearby Kiku visiting the lands remark at the coincidences between ancient monuments and newly built human structures.

Working on the following improvements:
1) Multiple Maps for broader perspective for some
2) Continued Rulebook wrinting for web based and a downloadable copy.

Notes on "My Lords"
NRR is actually roughly the ESI in a typical LOTE campaign.  The ranking starting this turn is true to where you place in roughly 60 positions in the game.\
MSI is modified for the values of the various units and such, but is also a fairly accurate measure of your nations Military Strength vs that of the other nations in the game.
Rank on the Home page is for your Military Strength in your Geographic region.  What might be 1st in one region would be 6th in another section of the world.
Usernames and Passcodes are not working for some people, but working for others on different computers within their own house.  If you cannot access your "My Lords" section it is quadruple checked by me at home and at the office.  I've had no challenges at all, but even if the worst thing came to be I could attach the whole thing in a file which would probably be about 200k or so.  Let me know however so I can help you with this.

Stat Sheets & Newsfaxes Completed since May 1st, 2000 - 4.  10 Months for 5 is slow.  I'll work on improving that as my main objective besides rules clarifications, etc.

Fun Stuff - A couple fun notes I thought to mention as the turn went along
Average Income is 127 GP.
Most entertaining write ups by new people:  Tie between Dean Patterson and Bruce Woodbury who had excellent writing.
Most humorous Halfling Line so far: "Slay not, except in defense.  For dead men do not make good customers"
Best "In Nation" Linguistic Performance without question:  Jason Sostre who created a cross I'm guessing between Spanish, Latin, and his own stuff

Sample of Goblin Creativity
"Shari-giin Blacktoe Diplomat reporting" Was his unenthusiastic greeting to the head scribe
"Report-what?" from the scribe
"Report Diplomacy" Shari clarified
"What dat?" was the scribes response
"Dat's when we talk to other tribes and get dem to join our tribe." Shari explained
"OH! Dat you! There mistake.  You got bad map.  Map guy spose make map to Gobs.  Instead make map to Orks." Ha Ha "Here new map for you"

One thing I thought to mention was the excellent amount of information and writing I've been sent.  Your newsfaxes and that of many nations around you have been enriched by a lot of great stuff sent in by I'd guess 1/2 of the players in the game.  Keep it up, fun stuff to read.

Contacting the GM:
Turn Fees:  $4
Overseas Players: $2 - my conversion rate is a killer and I like having new players typically not seen in the U.S. LOTE games
