The Azuki were having a hard time integrating their conquered Mongol subjects. The pagan mongols just had no interest, not to mention seething rage, in being friendly with the Azuchi. The solution was simple thought the Shogun "We must convert them!" so the Lords of the land began to try and convert the Pagans...very little was gained, a few converts, but not much

The final battle with the Huron proved to be rather anti climatic. The Huron
had been on their last leg for years and only poor planning by the Shawnee (and
the brilliance of BrightSpear) had been keeping doom at bay. But the Shawnee
were finally able to get their game together. An assassin severally wounded
BrightSpear but he was determined to still try and stop the invaders as his army
marched south, he was carried in a wagon. His men contested the crossing into
Tobacco but were put to route after a fierce fight. BrightSpear succumbed to his
wounds and died after the battle. Leaderless and the Huron army scattered the
nation crumbled as the Shawnee invaders had their way at last.

The Emperor was furious! Blood would be his in vengeance, curse those dogs! The commander of the Red Storm Legion had been set upon and killed by some outraged nobles in Kekchi. The Catholics hurled insults and threw stones at the heretic Aztec Lord before finally drawing daggers and killing him and his bodyguards. The Aztec response was put on hold when the Emperor died of a sudden heart attack. With the heir, now Emperor, Trakonel off on a diplomatic mission of his own there was no immediate response to this insult on Aztec honor.

Diplomacy: Sevilla (nt)
South Amerika continued to be a land at peace. The Granadans founded a new city called La Coruna in Arana on the main highway south from the Capital. Admiral Ponce returned home after founding La Toma on the desolate Baja peninsula. Rumors were that he ordered his men to enjoy their shore leave because the King would be sending them back out once more.
Don Domingo visited Sevilla. The place of his nations defeat in recent years. The city was now a "free" city after the collapse of the West Afriqan nation. Don Domingo disliked having to suck up to Afrikaners, but the Kings orders were law. So he smiled, kept his tongue dipped with honey, and did his best for the crown. The talks proved to be moderately successful as the city agreed that the Teutonic Kingdom had a legitimate right to Lordship over the city, but not enough of one to actually pay taxes.

Danish foreign adventures continued in the far east. Admiral Ponziani and General Tartakoner passed away. This left only General Kieseritsky and Admiral Larsen to complete the conquest of Rangoon, which they did with little difficulty.
At home the Emperor was concerned with seeing that the realm became more unified. General Szen remained in Thuringia and tried to persuade the recalcitrant Thuringians of the errors of their ways. But they were a stubborn people and though they may be pacified they were not interested in collaboration with their occupiers, in fact the Danish attempt to make nice only fueled their anger even more.

Swedish colonist continued to be sent out across the globe. This time the wild jungles of the South West Afrikan coast were the destination of one group as the city of St Erikstad was founded in Matadi. A second group traveled to the distant east and a new city in Arakan was founded called St Brigitta.
Diplomacy was also used to establish over seas ports for the Empire's colonial needs. In Amerika the Vasilovich brothers, Ivan and Ivar, helped Countess Orczelska negotiate a economic treaty with the locals in Hebron.
Back in Russia the Tsarina regretted the death of the Boyar of Rhzev, the son
of the dead ally was not happy with his country's situation and decided that
only a minimal relationship was in order.

Economic development was needed badly in war torn Wallachia. The Danish continued to help with economic aid and King Lodmund sold off Illyria and Bulgaria to the Macedonians. This aid and gold was put to use to develop the necessary public works that any healthy nation must have.

As peace continued in the Balkans some border adjustments were needed. Bulgaria and Illyria were ceded to Macedon by Wallachia. In exchange gold was shipped north.
Alexandros sent General Stephanopolis to India, Kalyani in particular, to engage in talks to secure a Macedonian hold in the sub continent. But the city fathers of Kalyani were already engaged in talks with Syria, and the Syrian diplomats were more skilled and noble daughter of Kalyani was married to Prince Hosuan, heir of Syria. Thus ended any hopes of an agreement with Macedon.

The Emir dispatched a large force into the Indian Ocean. One part of the force
went no further than Muscat in Arabia. Several thousand cavalry protected the
Lybian colonist and the city of Arabia Felix sprang up on the desert shores. The
remaining force rounded the southern tip of India and made land fall in Madurai.
General Muammar and his Lybian forces smashed the local Rajah's forces. A
garrison was left and then up the coast the army went. Next fell Vengi, a
garrison was left and then finally Kalinga met a similar fate.
The Emir's ally in Tunisia grew ill and died at a relatively young age, he was just 35. With his death Tunisia reconsidered its alliance and the new leader informed the Lybians that he was only interested in a economic alliance. The locals in Thebes were also reconsidering their stance with the central government. Recent missionary work by Hussite clergy had gone terribly wrong. The priests had insulted many of the locals and as a result a resurgence of Islam resulted in the region becoming mostly Shi'a. The Shi'a locals were unwilling to have any close ties at all with the very devout Hussites, who they hated.

After several years of war the Mali Ax were finally at peace. The Emperor was still trying to expand his Empire but he used talking now instead of pike and musket. Talking has its down side though as things remained dead locked in Douala and actually went bad in Daza. There were minor gains in Lindi and Bomi how ever.
The Nobles had liked the wars. Each new conquest brought new lands and more power. Now with peace come they worried that the King would try to reign in some of their power. Tensions grew between the King and some of his more powerful Nobles and it looked like war would be the result. Months of brewing tension were kept from sparking into open warfare when a moderate faction proposed that their bill a legal body that would be a check on the King's absolute power and provide protections for certain rights of the Nobility. A parliament was formed and a constitution adopted that the King grudgingly signed after some give and take on both sides over details. The nation effectively became a constitutional monarchy.

Urbanization and pollution tend to go hand in hand. In Japan this was proven. The Japanese population flocked to urban life as no fewer than 9 cities grew in size. Life in Kyoto had its ups and downs. The fact that 30 new airship yards were opened meant that jobs were plentiful and the labor shortage to fill those jobs had driven labor wages up significantly for the average worker.
Hourly wages were not on the minds of the Navy and Marines of the Republic as they went to war. Over 1,000 warship and thousands of mercenaries went to sea. They split into several task force and fell on the helpless possessions of the Sarawak. Sarawak itself did not respond knowing that their attempts would be futile after their recent naval defeat by Java. The Japanese hit Sarawak holdings from Colombo in Sri Lanka east out to Trukit in the Marshalls. The new cities will fit in well with the growing over seas empire of the Japanese.

The Naiponese awoke from their slumber and set about putting their house in order. One of the tasks necessary for this was diplomacy. The nation was of mixed faiths, with the Nobility being Buddhist. Large segments of the populace clung to the faith of their ancestors, Oroist. This hindered diplomacy as the Oroist were only willing to go so far and told the Daimyo's men that they would never, ever hold to any alliance beyond the economic realm with the Buddhist.
