The deal involved the Coloradans handing over the Gempei homeland and the region of Missouri. In exchange Ponca and Quapaw to the south were added to their realm. The arrival of Shawnee specialist who drilled the Coloradan troops was also a sign of stability and cooperation between the Catholic neighbors.

Shawnee Empire (Adena in Erie)

(Roman Catholic Renaissance Open Empire)
Kasar, King of the Shawnee, Emperor of the Iroquois
Diplomacy: Saginaw (p), Eppinette (p)

The Shawnee turned their attention back to the upstart Huron. Two armies were gathered. The one from the south was lead by the King himself. The one in the north would be lead by General Irayta and would set out from Pelibar. In the South the King, who was not a great general..or even a average one, was still able to chase BrightSpear out of Saginaw because the Huron were badly outnumbered and avoided battle. The King ingored the cautious advice of General Shai and began ferrying his army across the straights into Tobacco. The Huron waited for most of the Shawnee to ferry across then BrightSpear counter attacked and hit the Shawnee beachhead in July of 1679. The Huron were outnumbered 2-1 and the Shawnee had the advantage in artillery and cavalry. But still their King was a bumbling fool when it came to military matters and BrightSpear was a warrior. In the viscious morning long battle the Shawnee lines were broken. King Travois was killed in a futile attempt to rally his men.

In the North General Irayta had marched through the lands north of Lake Superior and fell upon Eppinette. It took him till June of 1679 to pacify the region and install a garrison. He then crossed the border into Ottawa, on the very day the battle of Tobacco landing was happening. BrightSpear, upon hearing of the new invasion, began the march north. By the time he arrived Ottawa was in Shawnee hands and the capital was about to be put under siege. But BrightSpear's arrival shocked the Shawnee general who only had about half the men BrightSpear did. He quickly fell back. BrightSpear's men were exhausted and he knew he had been lucky so he did not press the matter and satisfied himself with killing the Shawnee King and keeping his homeland free.

Aztec Empire of Mexico  ( Sion in Huave )

(Aztec Christian Church Renaissance Open Empire)
Horukel, Emperor of Mexico, Warrior of Christ, Protector of the Faith, Smiter of Infidel, Conqueror of the Incans, Rex Britannicus, Grandan's Worst Nightmare
Diplomacy: Cora (p)

Aztec efforts to establish a city in Tokugawa Nisei lands were frustrated when permission never arrived. The Earthquake Legion returned home in disgust. The Spear of Fire Legion was sent into Cora and that rebellious land was brought back under Imperial control with little effort. The big news was the discovery of a new Gold deposit in the north west lands. People flooded into Papago as Gold fever hit. Tucson blossomed with the new Gold trade.

The Azorean papacy sprang into activity after its recent years of slumber. Various papal missions were sent out in attempts to establish Church sites. Some were even sent into non Catholic lands, like the Shinto port of Ukiuio-ye. Near riots were almost had in some cases. The Church's missionary efforts proved more successful as people were won over to the Catholic rites in Provence, Holstien, and Quapaw.

Diplomacy: Thuringia (+5yfc),  Bulgaria (p), Bonsia (pt), Croatia (pt), Andaman Isles (pt), Palankawi (p), Pegu (p)

Peace efforts in the Balkans proved fruitful and a treaty was agreed to by all. Macedonia would give up some of its lands to Wallachia, Lybia, and the Mali Ax. The Danes would provide economic assistance to the Wallachians and Macedonians in return. The Danish army began to leave. Some of it returned to Verona, but a large part of it, along with a hefty portion of the Navy, was moved east and into Indian waters. The Mughal fleet was prowling around the Andaman Islands, still licking their wounds and training its new recruits, which often were just boys or old men. The Danish fleet set upon them. The Danish armada was huge, and its ships holds packed with marines. The Mughal fleet was no slouch either, though it lacked the size and skill of the European fleet. In a very viscious fight the Mughal were broken and their fleet scattered. The Mughal King perished in the fighting. The Danes then landed on the Andaman isles and stormed Palankawi. The Mughal nation was being held by a thread as it was. The death of the King and the taking of the capital was the end. Without leadership and completely demoralized the Mughal realm dissolved into Chaos. The Danish campaign in the Andaman Sea was not over however. Men were landed in strength in Pegu and that region was quickly brought under Danish control.

On the far side of the world, in Amerika, Danish colonist were brought ashore in Pachogue and the new city of Brooklyn was founded. Back home The Emperor was becoming a pit upset with Catholic missionaries spreading their Popish heresy in Holstien and Provence. Before the Emperor could deal with the matter however he took ill and soon passed away. His son Basil became Emperor. His coronation was met with reports of assassinations and sabotage on agents of the ministry of Intelligence.

With peace at hand the occupied lands were returned to them as their Macedonian garrisons were withdrawn. The shattered realm had a long way to go for full recovery but things were looking up. In deed, not only had the occupied lands been returned but Danish foreign aid poured in. Wallachia still had little prestige from the local areas though. In fact its ambassadors were thrown out on their ear and told not to return on pain of death in Serbia.

If this was not enough a naval force set sail to the far side of Afrika and into the Indian Ocean to fall upon Polonarva in Seylon.
