TURN 33 ORDERS DUE Monday, June 17th, 2002, 11:59 p.m.

ANNOUNCEMENTS AND GM COMMENTS

Going back to an old comment I had made many turns ago. I received a set of orders that were in Document format. They would not convert easily into text nor would they convert easily into Document format again. Player tried resending the orders but once again sent them in Document format. They were once more incomplete when converted. I forfeited the players turn because I have statement this on turn 16, 17 and 18 if the orders will not convert into text format correctly a blank set of orders will be made for that nation. I will state it right now if you like your Document formated orders fine, just don't send them to me. Copy all the information into an email message and sent your orders that way. Make sure they are readable after copying.

A side note for those who are wondering since I can find no reference for this anywhere it's just make it a standard use that 2 NFP will equal 1 cargo when loaded onto ships.

MAPS

Will be available via the main web page only. Make sure you gain one of these maps for your area.

MAP CHANGES

I have made a few alterations to the maps. These will only be reflected on maps you get from me.

  1. Move the border between the Bay of Biscay and the Celtic Sea north, so that it is possible to move directly between the English Channel and the Bay of Biscay. Brittany no longer borders the Celtic Sea.
  2. The Dvina and Dnepr rivers no longer connect. The current border is now the northen end of the Dnepr. The Dvina extends only as far south as the Kirivitch-Kur-Polotsk border. A level 3 canal can be built to connect the rivers.
  3. The Grand Canal in China has not be built. So the rivers of the Yangtze and Yellow don't connect.
  4. Another change it's in the Black Sea. Most will notice that there's a Black Sea and Mare Negri (French for Black Sea). Mare Negri is now called Western Black Sea. And the Black Sea half is now Eastern Black Sea.
  5. Iceland is now a seahold. This will allow anyone to sail around Iceland so they are not forced to land and cross the land itself.

Shamans were sent throughout the nation to see what they could do about the national beliefs. Jamerik settled on his throne and ruled. He did not overlook the fact that he had to marry and father some children. His first born, a son, occurred in November of 1056.

Jad was given the task of traveling to Agder in the hopes of regaining this wilderness land. His task seemed so simple but when it comes to wilderness lands that task was the hardest thing for the sociality to handle. Jad gained nothing after being there for nearly five years.

Danik gathered together some settlers and a force to protect them. He moved them along the coast line after reaching Halland heading into Norway. They crossed the mountains into Hordaland and started the chore of repopulating the land there. Danik watched over them the whole time making sure that nothing happened.

Domingo was given orders to travel down to Andalusia in the hopes of gaining a better treaty from the Muslims of this land. The talks moved quickly or so it seemed, Domingo was doing fairly well with the locals. When the closing days of 1060 were upon the people of Andalusia and Domingo a new treaty was signed. The paying tribute outlined everything the people of the nation were to do for the people of Andalusia in turn for the gold they would sent to the capital.

Once in inside they unloaded and took the city. The rush of soldiers from the city into the lands of Cornwall took everyone there by surprise. Soon Blasco was marching into Wessex and took the lands. Blasco moved into Sussex and was met by the first real force within the Aenglish home terrority. The battle between the two forces was quick Only due to the fact that the leader was unprepare. The siege of London occurred next. It was here that the Aenglish suffered the most severe damage. With their king died and the only leader left in the capital dying on the end of a sword the nation's government just collasped allowing Desmond to rebel forming his own nation. Blasco was very pleased the Aenglish and French were hostile with each other.

Gian-Carlo sailed some ships from Tortosa over to Falmouth to pick up the ships there. Once back in Corunna he used the fleet to shuddle the rest of the army across. He then took personal command of this force and move them into Wessex as Blasco had just finished taking the lands. He moved them across Mercia into Northumbria. The taking of Northumbria occurred without a single loss of life. The move into Anglia was a last minute thought on the part of Gian-Carlos, at least that's the way the orders appear. Anglia was taken just as quickly as Northumbria was. The army now lays around the port of Sutton ready to start a siege.

Phillip III learned of the great success he had planned. If the Aenglish and French would of worked better together he would not have had this great moment. The conquest of Aenglish would be finished soon.

Graphite ordered the expansion of the city of Santiago and the construction of a new port city in Puelche facing the Bahia Blanca. The city was then called Bahia. Graphite also ordered the construction of some public work projects within the city of Madryn before ruling over the nation for his nephew Obisidian III.

Slate was sent to Guenakan to oversee the construction of the public work projects that were being done within the city of Madryn.

Map changes: A Type-One Port City called Bahia was founded in Puelche facing the Bahia Blanca.
