The version 5.6 and above of the rules are not currently being used in Lords 19. Version 5.5 of the rules is though. So I suggest you dust off that set for now. If someone has a copy of the 5.5 version of the rules I would like to get a copy for web posting reasons. Thank you!
Census is not allowed as stated on the rules web pages. Please refer to it and your rulebook on what changes have been done. Gold used for Census will be taken as a bribe to the given leader to help keep his loyality.

THE NORSE KINGDOM OF ICELAND

Effects: none
To attract a player for this nation the capital city of Reykjavik was sacked and then moved to
the coast making it a port city in the hopes that this would invite a player to continue the
growth pattern this nation should have had by now.
Map changes: Reykjavik has been changed from an inland university city to the coast as a port
city.
THE KINGDOM OF THE SVEAR
Thorfin
Effects: none
Thorfin became ruler with the death of Harold in May of 1031. Thorfin had ordered the building
of some public work projects within the city of Vettermark.

THE KINGDOM OF AENGLAND
Coenred, King of England
Effects: Normandy (f), Wessex (nt)
Atley, the regent for young Coenred, ordered the building of a public work projects in Anglia.
He then watched over the nation for the young Coenred. Coenred came of age in 1034 and took
control of the government at that time. Atley had done a grand job of taking care of things and
was given a retirement celebration by young Coenred.
Rudyard cross the Channel to Normandy and started peace talks with the locals. He was soon joined by Steadman, who had been moving troops around England. Together they talked the locals of Normandy into a friendly alliance treaty. After the signing in April of 1035 Steadman passed away and then in June of 1035 Rudyard passed away. The two replacements weren't appointd until the final days of 1035.
Braden was sent to Wessex in the hopes that he could regain a treaty with the neighboring wilderness land. He started his talks in earily 1031 and finished them in 1035 with the signing of a non-paying tribute. Time well spent he thought.

THE KINGDOM OF HOLLAND
King Johan Ornebarne
Effects: none
Johan Ornebarne sat waiting for a new advisor to come and take the place of the lost one. The
days of growth looked to be over for this nation.

THE DUCHY OF BOHEMIA
Wolfgang Govner
Effects: Thuringia (f)
Duke Wolfgang Govner ordered the building of a public work project in Bohemia and the completion
of the megalithic construction project to span the mountains to the west of Prague with a
roadway to reach the city of Bamberg. Duke Wolfgang Govner started to rule over the nation he
was rebuilding until April of 1033. He passed away before he could finish a rule over the nation
forcing the people to suffer through a thin government.
Agria Govner was married and soon made a parent all in 1031. Her first son was born in November of 1031 while her second son was not born until the following year in November of 1032. She then passed away in March of 1033 bring a regent to the throne while her sons wait to come of age.
Samatha Govner was married in late 1031 and was a parent to twin daughters in June of 1032. And then in April of 1033 she had a son with her husband. Her death occurred during child birth of their third child that passed away not long after she did. This left the nation with three young heirs who were not even above the age of five in 1035.
Fredrick I, Goldbull I and Sumava V all got to enjoy a restful time as the government tried to keep the nation running. In 1034 the leader of Thuringia passed away leaving his lands to the crown making Thuringia a friendly land region.
Map changes: A royal road was finished connecting Prague to Bamberg.
LE ROYAUME DE FRANCE

Effects: none
With the death of the former leader of the nation a brief power struggle occurred bring one of
the strongest leaders to the fore front as ruler of the nation. He quickly replaced any and all
lost generals that did not follow his briefs with people of alike minds as his and alike
abilities.

FRANKONIA
Martin, King of Burgundy
Effects: none
Martin continued his lonely ways. The nation has not grown in so long that it's even hard to
remember when this nation actually really did something.

THE KINGDOM OF ITALY
Tiberius, King of Verona
Effects: none
Augustus ordered the expansion of the city of Bastia on Corsica. He also ordered the building
of more public work projects in Savoy, Sicily and Tuscany. He then ordered the building of a
roadway to link the city of Massa-Carrara to the Holy City of Roma. Started to rule over the
kingdom in 1031. He did not get a chance to finish his rule for he died in 1032. Tiberius, his
son, was then left as the only leader aiding the government.
Map changes: A royal road was built connecting the cities of Roma and Massa-Carrara.
EL REINO DE NAVARRE
Ferdinand, King of Navarre
Effects: Valencia (a)
Phillip the Second ordered the construction of some public work projects in the lands of
Catalonia, Granada, Old Castille and Portugal. He then removed himself from the throne so his
son, Ferdinand, could start his own rein over the nation. Phillip was planning a holiday away
but he never got to enjoy that for he passed away in 1034. It was a great loss to the nation.
Francisco Valverde was given orders to travel to Valencia and talk with the locals and see if he could get a better treaty. He moved himself there and begun talks. He was only going to stay a few months and that all he needed to bring the lands into a new ally treaty with the crown. Francisco Valverde then passed away in June of 1032.

THE DUCHY OF ESTONIA
Dmitri, Duke of Estonia
Effects: Rzhev (f)
Dmitri ordered the building of some public work projects in Estonia. He also ordered the
building of a new port city in Kymia called Helsinki. He welcomed the time he spent on the
throne for the fact that he could see how the nation has changed and grown since his father.
He ruled through the years and only left the thone to sleep, eat and when there were no other
court matters.
Ivan Dmitrovich was married in early 1033. He and his new wife did not become parents until February of 1034 with the birth of a son. And then in December of that same year they were blessed with the birth of a second son. Then in November of 1035, they had their third child, a daughter.
Map changes: A Type-One Port City called Helsinki was found in Kymia facing the Gulf of
Finland.
THE HIGH REPUBLIC OF HELLRIEGER
Lore, King of Poland
Effects: none
Lore sat quietly as his friend, Garrick, passed away in the fall of 1031. It was not until 1034
that the news of the death of Elrond in Kiev was learned. So when 1035 came around Lore had
something to do, he had to appoint a new general to replace Elrond.

THE ORIENTAL ROMAN EMPIRE
Mauricius, Eastern Roman Empire
Effects: none
Mauricius ordered the expansion of the cities of Dorylaeum and Rhodes. He also ordered the
building of some public work projects in Attica. He then ruled over the empire and watched the
years pass by as he sat upon his throne.

THE HAMADID EMIRAT

The nation continues to sit and wait. Maybe one day something will happen here.

Mustarhad, Emir of Emirs, Protector of the Baghdad Caliph
Effects: none
Mustarhad continues to be quiet and seems to be waiting for something. Hopefully he'll stop
waiting soon here and do something.

THE PRATIHARA EMPIRE OF KAUNAJ
Sahmir, Emporer of India
Effects: none
Sahmir ordered the construction of some public work projects in Sahis and Uttar Pradesh. He
then ordered the destruction of the city of Somantha so it could be relocated facing the Gulf
of Oman. This gave him the port city he needed to reach the coast of Africa for trade and
exploration. His last construction was the building of a roadway to link the city of Indore to
the city of Indus. His rule over the empire was strong and getting stronger by the day as he
continued to build more roads.
Panjarayan went looking for a bride. He looked for just under four years. He did find himself a wife and was married just at the end of 1034. He and his new wife became parent with the birth of a son in November of 1035.
Map changes: A royal road was built linking the city of Indore in Avanti to the city of Indus in
Gujerat. The city of Somantha was torn down and relocated so it was facing the Gulf of Oman.
THE KINGDOM OF MAGHADA
Punjab, Raja of Bengal
Effects: Gaur (f)
Punjab watched the world change. He had only one task to do the whole five years and that was to
appoint a replacement for the lost Hadji.

The kingdom continues to sit and wait. The lands it holds are doing extremely well and with the
income it has the nation could expand greatly with a little help.

This small kingdom has been sitting for so long now that it's a wonder anyone even knows that
it's here at all.

THE LAND OF THE RISING SUN

And his life continues to be a thorn in the side of the Empire of Japan. Each day the leader of
the Rising Sun wakes up is another day that land keeps itself apart from the greater empire.

And with the death of the last of the royal family, a new rule came to the throne. This new
ruler was stronger then Tayomo has ever been. Now maybe the empire will get back to it's former
state of glory.

THE KINGDOM OF THE YANGTZE
Wo-Chang, King of Hupei
Effects: none
Wo-Chang ordered the building of some public work projects in the lands of Anhui, Cheinnan,
Chekiang, Fukien, Funiu, Ghang'de, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Shentung and Szechwan. He also ordered
the expansion of the cities of Anqing, Changde, Chuugoku and Zhengzhou. His last royal
construction was that of a roadway to link the river port city of Kaifeng to the inland city of
Yen-Ching. He then ruled over the nation and welcomed his eldest son as heir in 1032.
Map changes: A royal road now connects the cities of Kaifeng and Yen-Ching. Zhengzhou is now a
Type-Two Port City.
OCEANIC
Polynesia and Australia
THE MOLUCCAS SEAHOLD
Taguma
Effects: none
Taguma ordered the construction of some public work projects in Palau. He then settled down and
ruled over the island nation that was slowly growing.

THE MAREE TRIBES
Yarran
Effects: none
Yarran continued to be the ruler of the tribe. He did have to bury Warrun, his uncle, in the
family tomb after the latter passed on in 1033.

THE ARIKAT OF THE MAAORI
Makuta
Effects: none
Makuta continues to rule over his nation. The lands of Akaroa are nearing the end of their
transformation and will become apart of the nation soon.

Northern Africa
EZ ZIRID EMIRAT AL MAHIDYA
Hanno ad Dawla
Effects: none
Hanno ad Dawla ordered the expansion of the city of Cincart before ordering more public work
projects to be built in Merrakesh and Zirid. He then ruled over the nation and only took time
off to witness the crowning of his eldest son as heir to the throne.

AL FATIMID CALIPHAT AL QAIRA
Al-Jabbari, Caliph in Cairo
Effects: Sinai (ne)
Al-Jabbari ordered the expansion of every city within the nation as well as the construction of
some public work projects within the city of Cairo and the land of Thebes. He then readied
himself for any attack that might befall the nation as Ali ran the government to the best of his
ability.
Reza Khan moved from Faiyum back to Cairo were he was named heir, even though this is not allowed without a royal marriage into the current ruling family, he then moved into Sinai and started peace talks with the locals. He talked and talk and then died from age in 1034. The army he had was left with the people of Sinai. A replacement for the lost general was not appointed until the fall of 1035.
Map changes: Cairo is now a Type-Five City.
Western Africa
THE DIA KINGDOM OF SONGHAY
Temne Ajami, Prince of Senegal, King of Songhay
Effects: Nupe (nt)
Mbu ordered the construction of a new port city in Senegal and called it Badiar. He had also
ordered the building of some public work projects in Kumbi-Saleh. He then left his daughter,
Somadina to rule over the nation and to increase the size of her own family.
Mbu traveled down to Nupe in the hopes of bring this land into the kingdom. He was soon joined by Yandinde and Abazu. Temne Ajami join them all at a later time. The talks did not take very long due to the fact that Mbu wasn't spending a long time there. He passed away on the journey home. Temne Ajami having just married the daughter of Mbu, Onyinye, quickly took charge of the group. Abazu did not like that idea and was killed by Yandinde who agreed with Temne Ajami. They returned to the capital and were going to put Princess Somadina to death but she had already passed away. This left the way clear for Temne Ajami to become the new ruler of the nation.
Temne Ajami, after marrying the daughter of King Mbu, rebelled when the death of his father-in-law. Upon his return to the capital of Timbuctu he was crowned king after the death of Princess Somadina was learned about. She had died leaving only a daughter as her heir.
Map changes: A Type-One Port City called Badiar was founded in Senegal facing the Ifriqan Coast.
THE TWIFO-HEMAN NATION

Effects: none
The small nation continues it's quiet ways as it lays upon the winds of the great waters to the
south of it.

Eastern Africa
THE MAKURIA KINGDOM OF NUBIA
Akenfluoris, King of Nubia
Effects: none
Akenfluoris ordered the construction of some public work projects in Axum. He had also sent off
a group of missionaries to Danakil in the hopes that they would convert the locals even further
into the briefs of the Coptic ways, Akenfluoris then ruled over the nation. The missionary
report came back in the fall of 1035 stating a small section of the local population had
converted and that their task was not yet complete.

Southern Africa
THE BAKONGO KINGDOM
Mogulu, King of Bakongo
Effects: none
Modudu ordered the expansion of the cities of Brazzaville and Kinshasa. He then ruled over the
kingdom while his son, Modula, tried to expand his own family in size. Modula and his wife were
blessed with the birth of twin daughters in December of 1031. And then in December of 1032,
Modula and wife became parents again when the birth of a son was announced. It was in 1034, that
Modula lost his wife to illness.

THE NEW WORLD
North America
THE MISSISSIPPIAN EMPIRE
Crawling Turtle, The Great Turtle of the Snake
Effects: none
Crawling Turtle ordered the expansion of the city of Pine Bluff. He then started a rule which
he would never finish. He passed away in the summer of 1032. Leaping Deer was crowned the new
ruler of the empire in the fall of 1032.

THE MIWOK CONFEDERATION
Tuolumne
Effects: none
Tuolumne ordered the expansion of the city of Eureka and then ordered some public work projects
to be built in Serrano before she withdraw from the throne room to rest and relax as Hunting
Coyote took over the work load of ruling the nation. Hunting Coyote mourned the loss of his
wife in 1034 and had not remarried by the end of 1035.
Map changes: Eureka is now a Type-Two Port City.
THE ANASAZI NATION
Kchult
Effects: none
Kchult ordered the construction of some public work projects in Opata and Tiwa. He then ordered
the building of a roadway to link the city of Caracol to Bonito. This roadway now linked all
but two cities within the nation together. Kchult ruled over his nation.
Map changes: A royal road was built to connect Bonito in Navajo to Caracol in Tiwa.
THE PLAQUEMINE NATCHEZ

Effects: none
When the death of the former ruler of the nation occured no one paid any attention to what even
occurred here. A new ruler came to the throne without so much as a fanfare to his arrival.
Map changes: none.
Meso America
THE TOLTEC HEGEMONY OF CHICHEN ITZA
Shadow Walker
Effects: none
Shadow Walker ordered the construction of some public work projects in Totonac and a roadway
across the mountains between Totonac and Zapotec to link the cities of Tres Zapotes and Mitla.
He ruled over the nation for the next five years seeing a finish to his rule in 1035.
Map changes: A postal road was built to connect Tres Zapotes in Totonac to Mitla in Zapotec.
THE ARAWAK OF THE ISLANDS
Dunoe
Effects: none
Dunoe ordered more public work projects to be built in Colon. He ruled over the nation for five
years without fail.
Map changes: none.
THE CHIBCHAN KINGDOM
Galan, King of the Chibchan
Effects: none
Galan ordered the construction of some public work projects in Achagua. He then ordered the
construction of a roadway to cross the mountains. The foundation of the roadway was started
at the gates of Bogota and moved towards the mountains. A snake like structure was built into
the mountain faces to form the roadway as it cut it's way over the mountains. When it came down
the backside of the mountains the city of San Cristobal could be seen. The road was built
straight towards San Cristobal. The kingdom was linking it's cities together slowly. Galan
ruled over the nation for the next five years.
Lanric was married in early 1031 and was a father by December of 1031 with the birth of his first child, a daughter. In December of 1033, Lanric and his wife welcomed their second child, another daughter. And then in December of 1034, they welcomed the birth of their first son.
Map changes: A postal road was built connecting the city of Bogota to San Cristobal.
South America
THE KINGDOM OF PARAIBA
Knute, King of Paraiba
Effects: none
Knute ordered the construction of some public work projects in Piaul. He then ordered the
building of a roadway to link the city of Tyr-Sog to that of the capital in Derck. His rule
over the nation was getting stronger as the roads were being built.
Map changes: A royal road was built connecing the cities of Derck and Tyr-Sog.
THE MIGHTY INCAN EMPIRE
Lloque Yupanqui
Effects: Ataura (f)
Sinchi Roca ordered the construction of some public work projects in Ataura, Uru and
Wairajikira. He also ordered the expansion of the cities of Arequipa and Jauja. He knew his son,
Lloque Yupanqui, was ready to rule so he allowed him to do so. Good thing for Sinchi Roca passed
away in the fall of 1031.

THE DUCHY OF SHOKLENG
Wani
Effects: none
Wani ordered the expansion of the city of Sao Paulo and also had some more public work projects
built in Cari. He was not needed for a rule but he stayed near the capital and the throne room
anyway.

THE MAPUCHE NATION
Obsidian II
Effects: none
Obsidian II ordered the expansion of the cities of Madryn and Quiroci. He also ordered the
building of some public work projects within the city of Talca. He then traveled south into
Huilliche to pick up some troops? There were not troops here but he did find himself a wife.
He returned home be witness the burial of High Peak. He then ruled over the nation. He mourned
the loss of his wife in 1032. He had not remarried by the end of 1035.
Map changes: Madryn and Quiroci became Type-Two Port CIties.
