that new treaty. The millitry alliance was signed in late 1025.
William traveled into Skane and tried his hand at religious conversion. He thought he would have a good chance at it, which in fact he does have a good chance but it just was not stronger then the beliefs of the people of Skane. Their Romna Catholic ideals were much to strong for William's pagan beliefs.
Thorfin got his charts correct and sailed off for Aland. Here he learns that diplomacy actions done on a colonizable land region amount to doing nothing at all. He learned it once more when he sailed to Gotland. He then sailed to Jutland and found himself some people to talk to. Now the problem with the people of Jutland is they are Roman Catholic. Thorfin was a follower of a pagan belief and those two things did not mix well. He fleed to Stockholm in late 1025 after the people of Jutland became extremely hostile towards him.
