THE NORSE KINGDOM OF ICELAND
Erik the Sheepish

Erik once again traveled to the islands of Faeroes. His talks were a little better then
before, to tell the truth they were the best he could ever hope for. They agreed to a
paying tribute due to this great effort he put forward. He returned home to enjoy the company
of his wife and son.

THE CELTICS OF SHETLANDS
Rolf Redhand
Effects: none
It was once said somewhere that no news is good news. In cases that is so and this just
happened to be one of them. No news arrived to tell Rolf Redhand what was what so he wasted
away another five years.

Gokstad
Effects: none
Gokstad along with Trehnt and Oseberg enjoyed the time off. They watched the surf roll in
and out as the seasons changed. Winters came and went and all they did was age.

THE KINGDOM OF THE SVEAR
Olof Skutkonung of Uppsala
Effects: none
Sven the Sheepish told his advisors that he was going to build things in a land called
Mesopotamia. When one asked just where they would find this land on a map they were
overlooking, Sven quickly quieted down and walked from the room. The advisor then took
this as he was issuing no new builds or anything for he seemed to be sulking for five years
in his bedchamber. In fact, no noticed until 925 that he had even died. This left another
regent the new leader until Olof Skutkonung's daughter comes of age.

Oswald, King of England

happened to be one of them.

THE KINGDOM OF GERMANY
Otto IV, Herzog of Saxony, King of Germany
Effects: Holland (nt)
Otto IV lost his wife in the spring of 921. He then traveled to Holland to forget his loss. The
peace talks he started there did bring in a new non-paying treaty. He returned home to sit and
grieve for his dear wife.

THE DUCHY OF BOHEMIA
Sviatopluk
Effects: Carinthia (pt), Meissen (fa, rebelled n)
Sviatopluk Govner ordered the building of this many troops, 400 light cavalry and 3,200 light
militia. Due to the fact he did not supply enough money for the builds he gained this: 400
light cavalry and 1,600 light militia (Please refer to Table 12-4 Unit Construction Chart in
the back of the rulebook.)
This is the movement of the armies of Bohemia in detail:
March 921: Sviatopluk gathered together his army and started across the mountains into
Bavaria.
March 921: The ally of Franconia gathered his army and traveled into Bavaria.
March 921: The feudal ally of Meissen gathered his forces and started across the mountains into
Bohemia.
April 921: The ally of Franconia reached Bavaria with his army. He gathered the forces here
before starting into Austria.
May 921: Sviatopluk gathered together his army and started across the mountains into
Bavaria.
May 921: The ally of Franconia reached Austria with his army and awaited the arrive of his
fellow leaders.
May 921: The feudal ally of Meissen reached Bohemia and started to move into Austria.
June 921: The wait for the ally of Franconia was over. Sviatopluk and the feudal leader of
Meissen arrived. They all then started for Carinthia.
September 921: They arrived in Carinthia. They then prepared to attack and force a tribute from
the people here.
April 922: The fighting was over and Carinthia was now under the control of the Duke of Bohemia.
May 922: The group move on towards Verona.
July 922: They began their attack on the lands of Verona.
September 922: The fighting has come to an end. The Bohemians won the day. They began their
assault on the city of Venice.
March 923: The defenders of the city fired down upon the assaulting armies. When the first
volley was over the attackers were down below half of their army left. The assault began and
was finished by the end of the month. Bohemia was in a smart retreat. The walls of Venice held
against the assault.
Sviatopluk Govner was forced to wait in Carinthia after that defeat he just suffered.
The leader of Franconia returned home and awaited further orders.
The leader of Meissen returned home and proceded to sent all the advisors from the Duke home before he declared himself neutral to the Duchy.
Sumava ran the nation like he was told to with a strong hand.
The feudal ally of Austria stayed at home and rested.

Regent, King of Burgundy
Effects: Savoy (ne)
Rudolph III was ruling and trying to have children when his death occured in the spring of 923.
A brief uproar was heard running across the nation. When everything settled back down a regent
was running the nation while the young children of Rudolph and William grew up.
William Friedrich was sent to Savoy to talk the people there into coming over to the ways of the Frankonian nation. When the news of Rudolph III death reached the people in 923 they instantly killed William during the brief change in governing advisors.

THE KINGDOM OF ITALY
Kali, King of Verona
Effects: none
Kali held off a major attack done by the Duchy of Bohemia and only lost 1,000 militia during the
attack. He did lose a region but he can gain it back again soon.

Effects: none

THE DUCHY OF ESTONIA
Gul'Ddan
Effects: Latvia (nt), Livonia (fa)
Gul'Ddan traveled to the land of Latvia and did some peace talks with the locals. Being so well
worded in the ways that only diplomats know, he quickly talked Latvia into a non-paying tribute
with his nation. He then traveled on into Livonia and hoped to do the same here. But instead
he gained a military alliance. Better then the non-paying so he'll take what they offer. He
returned home.

THE HIGH KINGDOM OF HELLRIEGER
Van Lierden, King of Poland
Effects: Bochnia (fa)
King Van Lierden with the help of the Bialoweza leader thought they would go and colonize
Danzig. They did not remember the local there were not pacified until they reached Danzig.
So they then traveled to Bochnia. They began peace talks which came to an end with the death
of Van Lierden in 924. The locals of Bochnia did sign a military alliance with the Bialoweza
leader. The army that was under Van Lierden did not know what to do. They were left in a land
that is militarial allied with them through the Bialoweza leader and he had left for home.
Sika was left at home to rule and produce children. His wife's death in the summer of 921 stopped the producing children and then his death in 923 stopped the rule. He left behind his twin daughters who were placed under a regent until they came of age.
Akitna traveled to Danzig and awaited further orders to pacify the lands. When none came he awaited further orders to return home.

THE VARANGIAN RUS OF KIEV
K313, Grand Prince of Kiev
Effects: none

happened to be one of them.

THE ORIENTAL ROMAN EMPIRE
Demetrius, Eastern Roman Empire
Effects: Bithnia (f), Macedonia (fa)
Demetrius stayed in Bithnia and talked the locals into becoming friendly with the Empire.
While back at home his son came of age. He was married but they never did anything to
further the royal line.
L171 traveled down into Macedonia. He talked with the locals and did gain a extremely favorable reply in the form a military alliance.

THE HAMADID EMIRAT
Ahamed ad Dawla Sa'id
Effects: Aleppo (nt)
Ahamed ad Dawla Sa’id traveled to Aleppo and talked with the locals. His peace talks yielded a
nice non-paying treaty. He now has access again to Carhea.
Lord Ibrahim of Damascus was discover die in the fall of 921. His body was stiff pointing to the fact that he had been died for awhile. His appoint was worried with the extra manpower wandering around the capital that a uprising will occur soon.

Asrasha, Emir of Emirs, Protector of the Baghdad Caliph

THE KARAKHANAT OF ILIG
Fuak Arslan, Kara Khan
Effects: Bactria (ne)
Fuak Arslan traveled to Bactria and tried to talk the locals into something higher then
the current standing. When nothing progressed Fuak Arslan knew he should of stayed home.

India
THE PRATIHARA EMPIRE OF KAUNAJ
Vijayapala, Emporer of India
Effects: Chitor (f), Jaunpur (f), Jihjhoti (a)
Vijayapala ruled over his empire. He was gaining some power but he would not be a true world
power until he got a better government running and more income coming in.
General Jaya traveled down into Chitor and with the help of the building got the local economic leader to agree to sign the friendly treaty. He then quickly moved down into Jihjhoti and began lengthy talks here. In the end he did gain the trust of the local economic leader. When the alliance treaty was signed everyone cheered.
The leader of Jaunpur stayed at home and defended until his death in 923. His will left the lands to the empire for he did not have an heir.
The leaders of Uttar Pradesh and Vatsa readied for any attacks against the empire.

THE PALA OF BENGAL
Mahatmasamhatman, Raja of Bengal
Effects: Assam (ea), Chandela (ea), Nadavaria (t), Palas (t)
Mahatmasamhatman defend his nation. During his reforcing of his lands he tried to have some
children. When that turned out to be a failure he rturned to the defending of the lands. He
did try and start a shipping fleet from his port area. And yet another failure in the books.
Ramahatsalama traveled once again. His first step was that of Assam. His charm and smooth talking won over the locals. They signed and appointed an economic leader to speak for them from then on. With this new treaty in hand he quickly dashed across the border into Palas and talked as fast as he could. The people could just bearly understand what he wanted. They signed the new payign tribute treaty just because it held him quiet for longer then thirty seconds. he then crossed the river, second in the trip so far, to reach Nadavaria.
Once in Nadavaria, he began his smooth ways again. He talked the locals into a paying tribute without even breaking a sweat. Now having three new treaties in hand he crossed the border into Chandela. He began his talks and with a smooth sweet voice talked the locals into an economic alliance. He quickly gathered up the four new treaties and returned home. Upon his return, he handed the treaies to the royal scribes to enter into their books. He retired to his chambers muttering something about a pain in his chest. He was buried in the fall of 925.

Wu-Lang wandered around overseeing things be built and other things in general.
Fu-Wung ruled over the kingdom. One day he would be ruling over a wide ranging kingdom, and it was all thanks to his father's wisdom.
Map changes: The university city of Chongqing in Kweichou was finished.
OCEANIC
Polynesia and Australia
THE MOLUCCAS SEAHOLD
Yabnagu
Effects: none
Yabnagu ruled over his nation.
Kargu and his wife became parents in 922 with the birth of their son. And then in 923, they became parents again with the birth of their daughter. And finally in 925, they became parents once again with the birth of their second son.
General Panop relaxed on the beaches.
Map changes: The port city of Manado in Sulawesi was built facing the Celebes Sea.
THE MAREE TRIBES
Naroola
Effects: none
Naroola and his wife became parents in the fall of 921. The birth of their third son was one
of the greatest celebrations held in the nation for a long time. It was the summer of 922
when Naroola lost his wife to an illness.

THE ARIKAT OF THE MAAORI
Adalena
Effects: none
It was once said somewhere that no news is good news. In cases that is so and this just
happened to be one of them.

EZ ZIRID EMIRAT AL MAHIDYA
Nasir ad Dawla
Effects: Cheliff (f), Merrakesh (ea), Morroco (fa), Zirid (ne)
Nasir ad Dawla continued his rule and watched as the nation grew by a leap.
Badis ad Dawla stayed in Merrakesh and talked the military leader of Merrakesh into signing an economic alliance. It meant more money for the emirat that would be placed back into Merrakesh. He then traveled into Morroco and talked with the locals there. By the end of 925, the Morroco people agreed to appoint a military leader to assist the nation in any wars.
General Mustafa Ahmed stayed in Cheliff and talked the economic leader into signed a friendly terms agreement. When all the paper work was done he then traveled into Zirid to talk with them about a better treaty. He did not effect them in any way.

AL FATIMID CALIPHAT AL QAIRA
Al-Hakim 'the Mad', Caliph in Cairo
Effects: Egypt (nt)
Al-Hakim traveled across the river into Egypt. His stay there was for an issue that he believed
to be very important, the growth of his nation. He talked with the Egyptians until the end of
925 whereupon he received a signed non-paying tribute from them.

THE DIA KINGDOM OF SONGHAY
Akil, King of Songhay
Effects: Ghana (ea)
Akil named his son, Dyabe, as the prince to the kingdom. He then took over ruling the kingdom.
He gave the rest of the leaders time off for good behavior.
Mansa mourned the loss of his wife in 922. He did not remarry.

Corum and his wife failed to become parent as of yet, but they will keep trying.

Effects: none
Oduduma returned home to have some children. He and his wife became parents in 922 with the
birth of their twin sons.
Umada continued to run the kingdom. His hopes were to one day be allow to walk along the banks of the great river to see where they go.

North America
THE MISSISSIPPI EMPIRE
Powtuneep, Son of the Sun
Effects: Scioto (ne)
Powtuneep stayed in Miami to oversee the construction of the new port city here. When it was
close to completion he returned home.
Chewing Beaver remained at the helm of the government. Another five years overseeing everything and anything that came to his desk.
Leaping Frog was sent to Scioto to talk with the locals about a better treaty. He was not good at this job but he tried his best and they agreed not to laugh at him any more.
Map changes: The port city of Namahi in Miami was built facing the Ohio River.
THE MIWOK CONFEDERATION
Sleeping Coyote
Effects: none

happened to be one of them.

The regent ordered the completion of the city of Caracol in Tiwa before he settled down to run
the nation to the best of his abilities.

Xiu Cinteotl continues his rule over the people. His rule was gaining strength. He needs to
look into things to help his control range out further.
Lord Chaac stayed in Chontal and talked the military leader into a full alliance.

The regent ran the nation with thought and wisdom. In a few more years the young son of Ahabatey
will come to the throne and govern hopefully for sometime to come.

Tukan ruled over the kingdom. He got the honor of appointing the first general to serve the
kingdom.
Kucan relaxed and watched over the children of Tukan.

Savuro, King of Paraiba
Effects: none
Savuro and his wife produced a son in the fall of 921. He then started a rule to make sure
that his nation ran smoothly for his son.

Tatam Yach ruled over the empire. His children were getting older and one would soon be his
heir and produce him some grandchildren.

Capiwab ruled over his duchy. He ordered the construction of a new port city in Tupinamba.
Chipwa was given sometime off. It was a really long vacation he took.

Black Rock continued his ruling over the nation. He was reaching an age that that's about all
he can do.
