RULE MODIFICATIONS
Any cultivated region can be colonized to 2gp by spending 15gp and 15nfp per level
Any named Island can be colonized to 1gp (with a few exceptions)

Any or all of your support cost can be paid by nfp at 1nfp = 2gp

Recruitment A Merchant house, Open Nation, or Secret Empire may spend gp in 25gp blocks to attempt to get nfp for Megalithic Projects. Base amount is 1d6 -1 for open nations and -2 for SEs. Note to SEs zero or less nfp result may get you exposed.

I am using the Lords 17 combat system.

Note that the Combat values for Warships are what they are worth in land combat. For Naval comabt they are as follows:
HEW = 3, HW = 2, EW = 2.25, W = 1.5, XEW = 1.5, XW = 1
Troops on ships Elite Infantry any Type = 1.5
Regular Infantry any Type = 1
Inexperienced Infantry, All Cav, Siege, ART = 0.5

Lords 11 Unit Conversion
Each point of cavalry and infantry represents 500 fighting men.
A warship or transport point = 1 ships with 500 men aboard each ship.
A siege point = 500 sappers or 5 ballista, catapults, siege engines, trebuchets or battle towers.
A field fort point = 1 fort manned by 500 men each.
A wall point = 10 feet of city wall ramparts.

Because I don't like "Magic" Numbers I am using percentages for basically all bonuses i.e. normally for every 5 ap extra spent on an action you get a +1. Now each ap is worth +0.20. So 5ap still gets you +1 but instead of 4ap being useless it has an 80% chance of getting you a +1. Same basic system is used for gp bonuses

UNIVERSITY LEVEL
Please note that there is a maximum useful university level, 10 is the max you will want and then only if you are a theocratic caste slave state for each that you aren't subtract one, if society and/or economic is open subtract one each, if half of your income is from cities or trade subtract another one. So somewhere in the 5 to 7 range will max you out. Maybe less depending on your religion and location in the world

Mohammad made a call for Holy War but no one was interested. Nutqak had been converted.
Arabia mostly cleansed. So no one saw the need for a new Holy War.

Mohammad Looted Isauria and Sacked its city then headed east through Aleppo and Nutqak to the Borders of Tavarhod to do some raiding. He had just over 200,000 men no problem. He was met as he crossed the border by the Tavarhod reaction force close to 225,000 elite cavalry. Luckily for Mohammad the Tavarhod were more amused than angry with him remembering their days of raiding and looting. So they swapped a few stories with the Al Batnah and sent them on their way. Mohammad went back to Arlan and contemplated. While he wanted to raid the rich lands of the Tavarhod one battle with that massive cavalry force and his horde would be done for. So he decided to sit in Arlan and think.

THE OMOTE HORDE

The Omote decided to go kill Bakongo. So the Khan split his army into 4 groups and sent them by different paths to attack Bakongo. Group 1 was lead by the Khan and had 275,000 men, Group 2 was lead by Kinta Kunte and had 80,000 men, Group 3 was lead by Chief Opala and had 75,000 men and group 4 was lead by Chief Salonga and had 50,000 men. As they crossed the border the Bakongo intel service went into action killing Kinta Kunte, Opala and Salonga. The Opala and Salonga tribes stayed part of the Horde but went home to elect new leaders. Kinta's assistant took over his part of the invasion. Giri and Ngoko were taken and scorched earthed and their cities burned. The Horde then moved south and hit Kongo from two directions at the same time. The Omote had close to 350,000 men against the Bakongo force of 70,000 men and a few field forts. Taking one look at the massive force coming against them the Bakongo force pulled back into Mukenko. The Omote rolled over the field forts and Scorched earthed Kongo. The Khan then headed into Matadi and burned Hulato. Kinta's assistant commenced an active siege of Mukenko. Close to 90% of his force was lost in the first round to about 1,000 men for Kongo. The Kongo force then sortied out of the city and killed the few remaining troops in the region.

THE BORKOU HORDE

The Borkou decided to go claim the North African coast. So they headed up into As Sidrah taking the region and leaving behind a force to enslave the population. They then moved on into Lybia taking the region and the unwalled city. They then moved into Algeria taking the region and assaulting the city and fortress. They then moved on to Kabilya and repeated the process. The force left behind enslaved each region and city before resettling tribesmen in the regions and cities. A force was also sent to Al'Hauts to take the region. Total losses for the Borku were about 20,000 men.
