Any cultivated region can be colonized to 2gp by spending 15gp and 15nfp per
level.
Any or all of your support cost can be paid by nfp at 1nfp = 2gp.
Recruitment A Merchant house, Open Nation, or Secret Empire may spend gp in 25gp blocks to attempt to get nfp for Megalithic Projects. Base ammount is 1d6 -1 for open nations and -2 for SEs. Note to SEs zero or less nfp result may get you exposed.
I am using the Lords 17 combat system.
Note that the Combat values for Warships are what they are worth in land combat.
For Naval comabt they are as follows:
HEW = 3, HW = 2, EW = 2.25, W = 1.5, XEW = 1.5, XW = 1
Troops on ships Elite Infantry any Type = 1.5
Regular Infantry any Type = 1
Inexperienced Infantry, All Cav, Siege, ART = 0.5
Lords 11 Unit Conversion
Each point of cavalry and infantry represents 500 fighting men.
A warship or transport point = 1 ships with 500 men aboard each ship.
A siege point = 500 sappers or 5 ballista, catapults, siege engines, trebuchets
or battle towers.
A field fort point = 1 fort manned by 500 men each.
A wall point = 10 feet of city wall ramparts.
GM Notes
Please take a look at the map in your area and let me know of any differences
between it and what is on your stat sheet
My email is phillipbaird@sprintmail.com
Because I don't like "Magic" Numbers I am using percentages for basically all bonuses i.e. normally for every 5 ap extra spent on an action you get a +1. Now each ap is worth +0.20. So 5ap still gets you +1 but instead of 4ap being useless it has an 80% chance of getting you a +1. Same basic system is used for gp bonuses.
UNIVERSITY LEVEL
Please note that there is a maximum useful university level 10 is the max you
will want and then only if you are a theocratic caste slave state for each that
you aren't subtract one, if society and/or economic is open subtract one each,
if half of your income is from cities or trade subtract another one. So somewhere
in the 5 to 7 range will max you out. maybe less depending on your religion
and location in the world.

TAVARHOD DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC
(?) Chosen of the People
Diplomacy: none
A delegation of nobles led by the Kings youngest brother came to the palace
to discuss (demand might be a better word) the rights of the nobles and the
people which had been trampled under since Kawan went insane and the new King
had done nothing to restore things to the way they had been on the stepes when
every man had a right to speak his mind and the Khans ruled with the will of
his people and took care of them. Now the kings were ignoring what the people
wanted and no longer seemed to care. Heated words were exchanged. No one is
sure anylonger who drew the first sword but the King was killed and the country
plunged into civil war. The Republicans held all the advantages since they had
control of the army and the capital. Changes to society were declared which
brought another round of civil strife and the army was sent out to reclaim
the rebelling regions.

The Origins of Humans
Tenger Etseg [Father God] created animals and humans out of mud and he spread
them out to dry. He created the dog to keep watch over the bodies of the new
humans while he was gone. Erleg Khan [Lord of the Dead], unhappy to see that
his brother was creating humans, came to see the new bodies. The dog would not
let him come close. At that time the dog could talk but had no fur. It was cold,
and snowing, so Erleg Khan tempted him, saying that if the dog allowed him to
see the humans' bodies he would give him a beautiful fur coat. The dog agreed,
and was given a shiny beautiful coat. Erleg Khan then spat on the bodies so
that humans would have diseases and not be immortal. When Ulgen returned he
saw that the dog had fur and that the humans had been damaged, so he punished
the dog by making his coat smelly, taking away his voice, and by making the
dog follow humans in order to get its food.
The Origins of Buyanhishism
Thanks to the efforts of the Lord of the Dead, people started becoming ill and
dying, and Father God and the Gazriin Ezen [Spirits of The Place] were troubled.
They met together in The Place to discuss how to correct this problem and decided
to send Hiimori [The Spirit Horse] to speak to a shaman and give him some of
his powers in order to protect mankind. Hiimori found a Tavarhod shaman one
day and told him that he would see 3 signs. Once he saw these signs, he was
to move amongst the people of the earth to tell them of the message from the
Spirits of The Place. "Become a Buyan [blessed one] and the Spirits of
The Place will protect you from disease and harmful acts." With this message,
the Great Shaman moved out todivulge his message.
Becoming a Buyan
1. Upon reaching manhood, a Buyad to-be must complete the ritual of 'Dallaga',
which imbues the powers of Hiimori upon the participant.
2. A Buyan must visit a 'Toroo', or World Tree, at least once in his life [NOTE:
Cathedral in game terms].
3. The forest, mountains, lakes, rivers, rocks, and trees all have their spirits
and they need to be respected for their gifts to mankind. This is the ideal
of living one's life in balance with the world.
4. The ritual of 'Tsatsah' [praying where one is in four directions] must be
done at least once a day.
5. A Buyan must engage in acts of generosity such as giving food and drink to
visitors and donating goods to needy people.
6. A Buyan must be clean and fastidious, and must bathe at least once a day.

NUTQAK HORDE
Merkid
Merkid decided to try and take revenge on Aleppo for killing Vachir and so he took the entire Nutqak army over 600,000 men into Palmyra easily taking the undefended region and city. He then moved into Aleppo and took the region since Asad and his army were all hiding in Anitoch almost 150,000 men. Merkid decided to leave the city alone and headed into Syria taking the region and city. Then down into Jordan and the Levant taking both regions. Seeing barley 60,000 men garrisoning Jerusalem Merkid decied to assault it. Unfortunately for Merkid the garrison was made up of SOA troops who were very good at siege warfare. Over 60% never even made it to the walls. Barely 10% of the garrison was lost. Merkid pulled back to Jordan.
