The investigate location action is normally only done with a
leader but I will allow you to do it with intel
but realize two things. They aren't very good at it and if you get a leader
death result you will lose a point of Ops Capacity.
TRADE ROUTES: All units on all trade routes will be
converted to msp next turn. You will only be able to pull them off in groups of
4msp and spend 4gp to get 1ht.
To ease the transition all of you have had your ISD raised a
point and auto rule is set but this won't last so get your houses in order
Please take a look at the map in your area and let me know
of any differences between it and what is on your stat sheet

Stanley I
Stanley's successor John looking over war torn Europe
decided something must be done to stop this and so he took the first step and
contacted Gwynneth. In August 1188 a
council of unification was called in Rome after over a Year of talks they were
done both sides have given a little but overall it went surprisingly smoothly
only the Aachen sites in Bavaria, Burgundy and Swabia refused to recognize the
unification. Some of the Major points agreed to were the moving of the combined
Papacy to Rome so as not to be identified with either of the former two
churches, women would be allowed to be ordained, all temporal land holdings
were to be released so the new church could concentrate on religious matters
and finally a new Pope Patricia the First who was almost unheard of before the
unification council but during it was a voice of peace and moderation. Now the
church waits to see how the rulers of Europe react.

Geran Steel, Jarl -Sachem of the Efulandish
The Vikings decide to join the general mayhem and attack the
Illini and Creek
The Viking attack on the Illini consisted of 2 prongs one by
sea at Sauk and the other overland from Eire to Miami.
The attack on Miami was led by Ender a very capable
commander who was assisted by the Sesquehana ally. The force moved into Miami
and met the army of the Illini nation which had just pulled out of Shawnee and
was led by Shoma king of the Illini also a very capable commander assisted by
Makum and He Of No Name.
In July of 1186 the sides met in battle it was a very even
match with the Vikings having 65,000 men to the Illini's 50,000 but the Illini
were on familiar ground and having almost twice as much cavalry as the Vikings.
Losses in the first round were about 9,000 Vikings and 7,000 Illini. Ender
looking the situation over decided that further combat was pointless no matter
what the king had told him so he took his army back to Iroquois the Sesquehana
ally also left not wanting to face 40,000+ w with his 5,000. Perhaps Ender's
decision would have been different if had known that Shoma had died in the
battle
Meanwhile up north Rynor Gibson and Urgin Fundy set off from
Hedebi to attack Sauk arriving in April of 1187 they commenced pacifying Sauk
and were done by July they then turned there attention to Titishoma where the
Heir Another With No Name was in charge of the defenses. The Vikings had 21,000 men the Illini had
some OK walls. The first round of the siege saw half of the walls destroyed and
4,000 Vikings dead. It was at this point that Makum and He Of No Name showed up
with the Illini Army. The Viking army pulled back to the coast to get some
support from their ships but it didn't do much good out numbered 2 to 1 with
the Illini on their home ground 10,000 more Vikings died and several ships
before the rest could board the transports and sail away barely 1,000 Illini
died.
The Viking invasion of Creek went even worse than the
invasion of Illini. The Powhattan ally
died in the invasion and his region went friendly. For full details see Creek
Missionaries were sent into Sesquehana and were laughed out
of the place.
Another With No Name, Chief of Illinois
Rather Rudely Awakened - See Vikings
Slyfox, Sachem of the Creek
Slyfox sent White Eagle out to gather up the citizens of the
outlying cities and bring them to Savanha for safety. So off White Eagle went
first to the south to gather up the citizens of Key Largo and then he headed up
North to gather up the Citizens of Nottawani.
It was there that he ran into the Viking invaders, which consisted of
the Powhattan ally and the Eastern Cree Feudal Ally who had just finished the
complicated task of pacifying an empty region, trust me for theses two
pacifying an empty region was VERY complicated. Not only was White Eagle a
better commander he out numbered them 5 to 3. The outcome was pretty
predictable splat, went the Vikings with hardly a scratch to White Eagles
forces. The Powhattan ally died and the rest of the Viking Forces ran away.
Only about a third of the original force made it back home. White Eagle then
went on to pick up the Citizens of Nottawai and then Secotan. He then headed
back to Creek.
Meanwhile Slyfox waited a few months and then headed into
Yamasee to attempt to liberate it. As the only troops in Yamasee at the time
was Luis and 4,000 Cav it wasn't very hard especially when Luis's Scouts told
him the size of the Creek force was 32,000 he decided to head over to Chatot
for a little vacation. Sly Fox then headed back to Creek and waited to see what
his enemies would do. He had a while to wait as Fishhawk had headed back to
Choctaw to pick up troops and meet up with the Mogollon forces. It wasn't until
August of 1186 that they arrived in Creek. Battle was joined between Sly Fox
and his 36,000 men against the combined Emerald Mound and Mogollon forces led
by Fishhawk and Ridgwalker with 85,000. Sly Fox was forced into open field
battle before he could retreat behind the walls of Savanah. He lost close to
15,000 men before he made it behind the walls losses to the combined army were
only 5,000. Fishhawk then destroyed the
last few field forts in Creek and commenced an active siege of Savanah.
Unfortunately for him the defenders were well prepared and half of his army
died in the first assault while costing the Creek 5,000 casualties He decided
to try again and once more lost half of what was left of his army against the
walls costing the Creek only 3,000 losses.
At this point Ridgewalker decided he had had enough and took what little
remained of his forces back home. It was at this point that White Eagle
returned to Creek with his troops and the citizens of the cities he had
evacuated. So once again open field battle was had in Creek but this time it
was 29,000 Creek against only 21,000 Emerald Mound troops after a short
engagement the Emerald troops had had enough and began to retreat leaving
behind another 2,500 dead while killing only 1,500 Creek. The Emerald troops
retreated to Yamasee which Luis and his 4,000 Cav had reclaimed after Fishhawk
had taken Creek. Sly Fox once again led his troops into Yamasee to try and
liberate I it. But with the addition of 4,000 fresh cavalry Fishhawk was able
to force Sly Fox to retreat with only 1,000 dead on each side.
Sly Fox also let several regions drop to nt
Chickasaw, Chowan, Monacan, Shawnee, Tunica and Yuchi
Sly Fox also freed the following regions Calusa and Catawba
On a side note someone got into the Creek treasury at some
point and made off with almost 1gp wow! Of course it could also have been a
clerical error
