This upset Rudravarman's wife who just gave him a male son. The wife left the palace with the son and let her estranged husband know that he'll not see her again unless the child becomes the heir. On the other hand, Harshavarman does not want his older brother to change his mind.

Achmed at Talit with 10,000 infantry were joined by 20,000 Ghuzz and attacked the Pontus and after catologing their homes, began a regional genocide. A desperate rebellion killed 10,500 and cancelled this act of atrocity. The Ghuzz (who were the survivors) moved back to Armenia. Lazica, upset over the true intentions of the Caliphate towards Christians, told the embassary Nimrud that they won't send any more tribute to the butcher Caliph.

THE GHUZZ TURKS
Al Aqshairu ibn Al-Jamal as Sumna, Nizam of the Ghuzz
DIPLOMACY: none

THE KARIMID SULTANATE OF ALEPPO
Uthman ibn Sirdar, Sultan of Aleppo
DIPLOMACY: Palmyra(ea), Faiyum(t)
Uthman with about 65,000 infantry, 2500 mercs and 10 galleys (along the coast) marched south from Antioch through Sinai and Misr to occupy Coptic Iksandr, the enclave city in Egypt. Meanwhile, Falchid whom had evaded a sinister murder plot and 24,000 cavalry exacted tribute from Ghebal Gharib. It was subsequently discovered that this desert was pro-Zaidi. With 21,000 horse left, he protected the south from Yemeni attack. In 1093, 10,000 cavalry and 10,000 infantry, 1000 sappers and 16,500 mercenaries (the Zaidi had paid more to get the troops they wanted) crossed the pass between Harrat al Uwayrid and Jabal Dabbagh to attack Petra. Along with the native force, Falchid utterly routed the invaders. But while Falchid was distracted, a Yemeni naval force assaulted the first ring of fortifications of Kalismal. The Yemeni battle chief was killed in the push and the marines and navy went home.

THE BLACK HORDE (Karakhanids)

Ar Rakdad, Guardian of the Mandab Straits
DIPLOMACY: none
The Yemeni used their money to hire every mercenary they could find. Prince Suleiman then marched the army north by way of Hijaz to attack the Karimids. The evil Karimid marshal Falchid was a thorn to Rakdad's plans. His reaction force defeated the Zaidi at Petra; leadership being the decisive factor in battle. The survivors escaped back home. The navy assault of the fortress city of Kalisma resulted in Uthman Abas' death.

THE GREAT PRINCIPALITY OF SUZDAL
Ghorbeam, King of Suzdal
DIPLOMACY: Smolensk(ne), Starodub(ne)
An understanding between the Suzdal and Kur was come to. The Suzdal was to inherit all the former Gardarike lands. The Kur would defend the two against the Cherkassy and then migrate to Poland. The Cherkassy weren't hostile now; they left in a hurry. The 220,000 cavalry departed by way of Muscovy, Suzdal and Kama Bulgar to enter the endless steppe. In order to honor this agreement, the entire army (which was built with a mass conscription) was given to the Kur. Many villagers were unhappy with this arrangement and productivity fell, causing a depression. When word of their deaths came, everyone got real sad.

THE LETTIC KINGDOM OF KUR
The Kur got antsy because the Cherkassy was so near. They called for a mass conscription and on top of that overtaxed. Chernigov, Daugava, Lyubbech and Polotsk rebelled straight off. Olgerd stuck to the plan. He let Ustaff get the troops while the Kur migrated from Courland. The People of Courland and Mazelkial picked up their belongings to leave. Courland became an uninhabited wilderness and was later called Livonia. Ustaff, getting back to the main story, wasn't loyal. He desposed Olgerd and killed off his body guard. Ustaff with 10,500 cavalry, 79,000 infantry and 2500 sappers added 22,500 Suzdal infantry at Smolensk then marched back through Lyubbech, Cherven and Bialoweza. Bialoweza's 1500 infantry garrison was taken and Bialoweza was made free. They great army impressed the Polish regions (Kuyavia, Sorbia and Lausatia) with their mighty parade. Their force would be enough, Ustaff thought to destroy the Magyars. First Thuriniga would be attack to made tributary. The 103,000 spear men and archers, 10,500 cavalry and 2500 sappers faced 69,000 Magyar knights, 5000 mercenary swordsmen and 8000 Thuringian militiamen. Since the Magyar King was a far better leader than Ustaff -and- because of all those cavalry, even with more Lettic troops, the Magyars completely and utterly demolished the entire Kur army in the battle and subsequent rout. Ustaff was slain in the battle and with nothing left all the remaining lands of the Kur (Bialoweza, Cherven, Kiev, Lithuania, Smolensk, Starodub, Kuyavia, Sorbia and Lausatia) became neutral.

THE MAGYARORSZAGH KINGDOM OF HUNGARY
Emeric the Slaggart, King of Hungary
DIPLOMACY: Moravia(nt), Ludgorie(nt), Meissen(nt)
Emeric trained new cavalry at Prague. He fuly expected to deal with that big bad horde but what happened was not expected. The heathen barbarians of Gardarike, having been vanquished by the Cherkassy, split into several tribes. One of these the Letts with over 100,000 warriors migrated to Hungary. Emeric was about to do something else when this secondary horde invaded. The Maygars were ready and scored a great victory. So great a victory this was that the Kur ceased to be. Still with 69,000 knights, Emeric resumed his plan but with added vigor and confidence. He rode the vicotrs through Moravia to slave raid Sandomir, Kuyavia and Sorbia.

THE KINGDOM OF DENMARK
Ian Fourrod
DIPLOMACY: none
The Danes hired a few new troops to guard the fir trees.

THE HOLY KINGDOM OF BHEATHAAMROIS
Magna Mater Morgause Rapturous, Sister of Mary, Protector of the Innocent, Blessed of the Divine Light of Christ, Beloved of God in All His Glory
DIPLOMACY: none
Sisters Grainne and Dochtire were sent forth on boats to help the good Wessex fight the nasty resurgance of the Aachen Papacy. But the Michaelites were too much for the English armies to subdue. Their Burgundians cur-dogs isolated the Franceland cathedral. Holy Mother Meardioch died in 1095 after a lifetime of standing up for what was right. She was 78. Her daughter, properly educated, took her place. More books were translated into Scots Gaelic and the language was taught at churches everywhere. Fools who misquote the Word of God in public were scourged.

THE SAXON KINGDOM OF WESSEX
Caedred II, Anglo-Saxon King
DIPLOMACY: Brabant(nt)
Benton awaited for Welson and Bleys to gather up the scattered garrisons. When they and the Church sisters all arrived early in 1092, they shuttled their army across the English Channel to the marshes of Brabant. Bleys kept the 18 cargo ships and 28 church boats while Benton roll called the new infantry, many of them teenage boys. The Ponthieu feudal lord who promised to help vacillated when the Burgundian army (and their Epop allies, some 50,000 men) crossed through their homeland, and then declared his independence. This same army also exacted tribute from Flanders and Normandy. Ile de France was isolated as a consequence.
In the summer of 1093, the 46,500 fighting men plus 1500 Scottish pioneers attacked Lorraine. There were 9000 Epop infantry, 10,000 unholy horsemen, 5000 freelance goons, 21 evil towers plus 34,000 geeky Bugundian infantry and 10,000 dumb Arelat siege-boys. Of these, 14,500 defenders deserted their posts, fearing - well, who knows what Burgundians fear, heights?-water? insects?-fanged chipmunks?-they just ran away. At that point, Benton disappeared. Since Bleys was out fishing with the navy, there was no English commander around, so the Wessex troops' morale plummeted. The Church matron, Grainne, did the best she could but came up short. Those towers really hurt the cause of the good. It was a total rout. Only the 1500 Scottish spades survived the debaclé and they were even lucky to get to the ships. The flotilla returned to Wessex to endure a hostile home population. King Caedred's approval rating dropped and some would-be revolutionaries suggested an end to the monarchy. Perhaps a good multi-turn plan can save the Saxon king's prestige.

THE GERMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH
Michael V, Bishop of Aix-La-Chapelle, Pope of the Catholic Church
DIPLOMACY: none
The wall points for Aix La Chapelle and Wolfenstein were fully restored. Lots of field forts were built in Lorraine. There were two assassination attempts against Pope Michael's life. None got through the force field (3 guards on duty, 2 dobermen and a flock of sparrows). Bishop Kraft raised new infantry from Burgundian stock then worked with the Burgundian king (the unmanly Heinric) and deprived Wessex control of Flanders, Ponthieu and Normandy. Also the Michaeline Papacy took the Ponthieu abbey from the Schismatics. In 1093, the Wessex attacked. Their plan had some merit but they did not account for those field forts. Their loss was another great victory for the Aachen Papacy. The Burgundians took most of the damage and were left with 20,000 troops.

THE ROMAN EMPIRE
Caesar Vigilius, Rex Latinorum, Dominum Lagobardium, Imperator Romanorum Occidentalis
DIPLOMACY:
The Romans defended. Their Alpine frontier had even more fortifications due to the continuing Cherkassy threat. General Vopiscus did some excavations near Rome and found something very, very important and interesting and holy. With all those bountiful harvests, the minister of agriculture announced to all pro-Papal Christians that he's got pasta for sale. Aquileia grew to 6 Gpv. An imperial road connected Aquileia to Pavia. The A'ir didn't attack.

THE KINGDOM OF BURGUNDY
Heinric Clense, Rex Burgundus
DIPLOMACY: none
Heinric and Biship Kraft and their armies crossed through Vermandois, Brabant, Flanders, Ponthieu and Normandy. Of these, Flanders and Normandy had to be attacked into paying protection. Ponthieu, who harbored resentment against the Wessex crown, became independent. At Normandy, the armies received word that the Wessex were attacking. The army reacted in time to do battle in Lorraine. Many people at home complained that the king's devotion to the Pope was dangerous. Rumors of Castillian raid were not true.

Boy king Chatoyetau was caught and was thrown off the mountain as a human sacrifice to the Mayan war god. Huichol's history came to an end. Itaputato became a pile of rubble and ruins.
