Unspecific Attack Orders: If you attack a region and there are walled cities are fortresses in the region, your army will Assault these unless otherwise specified. You must capture these if any of your attacks are to work. Secondly, you cannot attack to make tributary someone's homeland, you must pacify it.
Hunting Action: Code (H) Base Action Cost: 8 months (at least). Hunting requires a leader and a land army to perform. The army is going into a region and hunting wild game for their product: food, fur, ivory, oil, etc. Each region type produces a different yield:
Maximum Yields
Terrain Type Agro Res. Points Gold Points
Cultivated 1 0
Intense Cultivated 1 0
Wilderness 3 1
Steppe 2 2
Tundra 1 1
Mountain 1 1
Desert 0 1
Jungle 1 3
Island 1 0
Oasis 1 1
Sea Zone 1* 0*
*Some Sea Zones may produce an addition 2 Agro Reserve or 2 Gold as well. There
are certain fishery and whaling zones but these do move.
In all hunting actions, each region's yield will be multiplied by the
following factor: 10% x d6-5+modifiers.
The modifiers are: +Leadership of Hunting Leader.
+1 for each 10 units, max 10.
-Gpv.
-RRV (or 5 if none).
+1 for each additional 4 months.
-1 for each 5 PWB in the region, drop fractions.
-5 if the region has been hunted in the past 10 years.
-30 if the region has been depleted in game.
There are ecological costs to Hunting. If a region get hunted in twice in 10 years, the game will be depleted for 50 eyars and all further attempts to hunt will yield nothing. Sea Zones won't suffer from Hunting until the industrial era.
Oceanic Movement: All ocean going leaders and navies travel on coastal sea zones that border your own nation and those of all trade partners at the rate of 1 month per zone. Movement on all coastal sea zones not bordering your nation and your trade partners is 2 months per zone. Monsoon arrows will speed up travel by a factor of a half. Sailing against a strong current counts an additional month. Sailing into hostile waters (H code in the sea zone on your maps) costs an additional month. Travel on all mapped open ocean arrows and inter-island arrows is 1 month per arrow. Travel on non-mapped or partly-mapped open ocean arrows and inter island arrows is 4 months per arrow (as you are mapping them). These movement rules nullify the rules introduces around Turn 59 of Lords 10.

Maharaja then took his court plus Govatsa and some warships to Srivijayan
Kedah. The God-Emperor offered gifts and princesses if only these fellow
Hindus betray the Oceanic Seagod of Srivijaya. These offers were tempting to
sway the feudal leader but the greedy Buddhist were clever enough to keep
them from outright rebellion. Rudravarman wondered if he did the right thing.
Sarawak, land of nasty insects, was more receptive to Prince
Harshavarman, brother to Rudra, but not the heir. Lord Kanishka with some
troops attacked to force tribute from Lampang, Nan Pung and Hmong.

THE SAMANID EMIRAT OF BUKHARA
Ahmad III, Emir of Bukhara
DIPLOMACY: none
Ahmad surely had something sly planned - if his underlings could
understand the demented ramblings of a senile sultan (No one seemed to mind
the 44,000 Cipsac cavalry parading through the land). Ahmad felt better after
purging his inner court.
ARRAN EMIRAT
Sabim Abm Bela'ad, Governor of the Roughlands
DIPLOMACY: none
Sabim took the Kumis garrison and wityhdrew since the Blue Horde had
been victorious. He searched the mountains of Tabaristan for signs of devil
worship. He unearthed an old Talisman from the days of Ad. Mustaf searched in
Nishapur and died most horribly of some bizarre suffocation. Master Garif died
in 1089 of brainbach. News of his demise traveled slowly. At Alamut, Sabim
thought it keen if he would become the new master. He moved to Baku and
deposed Garif's whelps. The Roughlands will never be the same again.
A sea trade route was set up with the Greeks. Two cities expanded: Babol
and Baku.
THE KÖKOKUL EMIRAT OF SAMOLAH
Ibn Kalar, Emir es Samolah, Khan of the Kökohul
DIPLOMACY: none
"People of Kokohul, Our allies, who we have bled with and bled for while
helping them fight their wars, are now talking peace. They have already granted
our lands to our allies in the north and to the enemies in the south, but they
speak of giving us nothing but free passage to another home. We will leave
Kumis and Jibal, for we have too many enemies around us. However, we will not
go where they wish. Instead, we will seek the good grass and lush fields to the
east. We will settle lands of our choice, and if any object, then let them face us
on the fields of battle."
-Kalar the Victorious, 1086 at Samoleh
Kalar and hs horde had beaten the Arran hordes so he rode triumphantly
into Kumis -after he burned Hamadan to the ground and plundered Jibal. Those
who would leave did so soon after his proclamation of intent. So Kumis became
an uninhabited steppe and Samoleh, a ghost town. Though Dash't Kavir,
Kuhistan and the Afghan valleys and the Registan deserts, the Kökohul
migration went. In Baluchistan 15,000 nomads joined the Blue Horde, hearing of
Kalar's daring in the face of tremendous odds.
The Blue Horde attacked and invaded Sind, a Buyid ally at the edge of their
frontier. The 57,500 cavalry completely overwhelmed the native force then kept
them pacified while Sunni Muslim tribes dispossessed the Qarmatian Shi'ite
villages of Sind. Mansura, the port city, had also been captured but the Kökohul
lacked the population to colonize it for the time being. In 1090, Kalar died, but
he had found a new home for the Blue Horde.
BUYID EMIRAT OF SHIRAZ
Ibrahim bin Sa'id al Buya, Emir of Emirs, Pasha of Shiraz
DIPLOMACY: Sind(a, until invaded), Laristan(fa), Jibal(t), Khuzestan(a)
Ibrahim toured the homelands and comforted them. He wouldn't come to
Sind's aid when the Blue Horde migrated in. Sind was lost. But in their haste to
leave, the Kökohul had alienated Jibal. Jibal spontaneously became a tributary
satellite of Shiraz.
THE CIPSAC HORDE FEDERATION
Dökjoin the Ghirmak, Khan of Cipsac
DIPLOMACY: none
The Cipsacs, all 44,000 of them, rode south along the east shore of the
Caspian Sea through Bogazgol and Gurgan and then to Jowzjanan, Tukharistan
and into the red mountains of Ghur. The going was rough then. Seistan was
attacked, to be looted. This was too slow a process. Then Zabulistan. Then
Afghanistan (a cultivated region). Thankfully, there wasn't the time to climb
Turan. The troops would have died of exposure if that happened.

THE KARIMID SULTANATE OF ALEPPO
Uthman ibn Sirdar, Sultan of Aleppo
DIPLOMACY: Petra(fa), most of Egypt(nt), Faiyum(nt), Thebes(nt)
To resolve the bitter taste of bile in his mouth, Uthman ordered his army to
be sent to the Nile Valley to destroy those pesky Nubian barbarians who squat
on Egypt. 40,000 Syrian cavalry led by General Falchid plus 10,000 mercenary
horsemen ran down to Misr and crossed the Nile Delta to attack Prince Normal
and his 12,500 cavalry, 5 field forts and 2500 garrison troops. Normal didn't see
the storm coming. His entire army was routed. He escaped to the just built
citadel inside the sacked Alexandria. Except for the city, the remainder of
Egypt was liberated from the Coptic regime and returned to Sunni Islam. Later in
1088, Faiyum and Thebes were freed from Kuffari bondage and reverted like
before to Sunni Muslim. In 1089, the 47,500 cavalry invaded Nubia itself.
Without a navy nor a secure supply line of control, Falchid's army was isolated.
But he had the numbers to demolish the 16,000 defenders. Their king fled to
within Dongola's ancient 50 foot walls. To topple Nubia, Dongola had to be
captured - but without the supply, nor the proper troops, the going was bad.
22,500 men died in the first wave before the Syrians gave up and ran. Falchid's
army regrouped in 1090 in Misr with a small fraction of their original force. An
additional 15,000 cavalry under the vizier's command had stayed in Misr. They
had countered every Yemeni raid along the Red Sea.

THE CHERKASSY HORDE (Xi Xia, Tavoc, Tangut, Jark,)
Layaidu, Khagan of the Steppe Peoples
DIPLOMACY: none
The Cherkassy wanted to make their European vacation pay for itself. So
far it has been a bust. The 278,500 horse-archer host rode north to the merry
lands of Gardarike for fun and excitement. It looked like the natives were out to
lunch. So there was no one home to stop Layaidu and his burly boys while they
raided Kirivich and sacked Velikiye Luki, then raided Latvia and sacked Riga,
then raided Estonia and sacked Tallinn. In Ilmen, the Gardarike made a stand.
Some 100,000 troops who had compaigned earlier in the year in Poland had just
made it home and got in a defensive position along with 18,500 stay at home
troops. The 278,500 Cherkass mauled these Letts and forced those still alive
into the palisades of Novgorod. There were still 33,000 infantry but then the
Cherkassy were in much better shape with 235,000 riders. Layaidu called for an
assault and with his numbers he could well afford it, especially since his horde's
siege skills were among the best in the World. In two days, the city was popped
open, gutted and trashed. The Gardarike kingdom toppled for its king and best
general, the government and the bikini team were burned alive in a gruesome
mass slaughter. The treasure that these wankers looted from Poland was
seized, Ilmen was then plundered. After that life was so much easy (sort of).
Veposkava was raided. Volkhov was sacked. Tver at last was raided and its
city Orsha got raped. Despite all the reckless abandonment and ultra fun the
troops bitterly complained that they had been in hostile terrain all this time. Like
in Hesse, it would take much to pay off the troops. The Khan might just be able
to keep all his men happy this time.
THE PECHNEG KHAGANATE OF LEVEDIA
Yikma, Khagan of Levedia
DIPLOMACY: Kuban(f)
The Pechnegs waved bye-bye to the great Cherkassy as they left the
Khaganat. Hurand in Crimea grew to 2 Gpv.
THE KINGDOM OF POLAND
Two Gardarike armies attacked and destroyed the Polish kingdom. One,
the 100,000 infantry conquered Bialoweza and Kuyavia. The latter was looted
and the Polish treasure tree was discovered and emptied. A second force of
10,500 cavalry, 2500 goblins, 62,500 infantry attacked to loot Kassubia, Sorbia
and Sandomir. Nasto escapted the mayhem and died in the company of
Layaidu, Cherkassy Khan. The Horde Captain wouldn't let the former king near
his former treasures. All the regions except Bialoweza became neutral.
THE KONINGDOM OF GARDARIKE
Rurik saw an opportunity to make a few extra bucks by thumping a small,
insignificant - and fellow Pagan - nation. The two great armies, which if they
were combined would have been a horde killer, marched west. The first led by
Olstaf with 75,500 men attacked and looted Kassubia, Sorbia and Sandomir.
The second, Viktor's 100,000 infantry conquered Bialoweza then polished off
the Polish in their verdant homeland of Kuyavia. Viktor was the first to come
home so he could relate his exploits to the king but his army came home to hear
the frightful news. The great big horde, I mean HUGE, the Cherkass, had raided
much of the Gardarike heartland. They had done in Kirivich, Latvia and Estonia
even as the Gardar was distracted. Viktor only got home just in time to reinforce
King Rurik and defend. It wasn't good enough. The threat wasn't taken
seriously. It was too late. Gardarike fell with the death of Rurik and the city of
Novgorod's sack and slaughter.
The rampage of the Cherkass had rendered Kirivich, Latvia, Estonia, Ilmen,
Veposkava and Tver ungovernable. Turku became neutral as this had been
going on. Olstaf was the last known lieutenant from the old days. He and his
force settled into Mazelkial with what was left of the old Ilmen government. This
became the capital of a new kingdom. To the east, the Suzdal became the
center of a distinct principality. The Gardarike for all their power failed to stop
the nomads when it really mattered.

THE GERMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH
Michael V, Bishop of Aix-La-Chapelle, Pope of the Catholic Church
DIPLOMACY: none
Chief Deacon Nestor lent his money to the Burgundians so that they could
raise a big army with all that saved manpower. He took his own acolytes with him
over the Alps and raised his own army at Basel at the end of 1086. With 10,000
cavalry, 4000 infantry plus 5000 freelance, 40,000 Burgundian infantry and
1000 Frankish ballistae, Nestor led the force to Lyonnais to drive the Castillians
from Lyonnais and (maybe) Provence. There was an army of 10,500 cavalry,
8500 infantry near Lyon that were swept aside for Burgundy's sake. In 1088,
the troops relaxed at home and were reinforced by 52,500 Magyar knights and
5000 Croatian swordsmen. All went to Champagne and Lorraine. At Lorraine,
the Wessex garrison was waxed. Wolfenstein was retaken and Aix-la-Chapelle
was reconsecrated as the Holy City. Nestor was crowned Pope Michael V by the
college, becoming the first Pope since the Martyrdom of Purity II, seven years
ago. He spoke these words:
"Oh hear me you Heathen. You think you are a Christian by speaking lies,
but your actions have proven you belong to Satan. You have sinned greatly and
rejected God by rejecting his Holy Word from the Bible. These are the word of the
Lord our God. (Genesis ch3, verse18) "...I will make a compaion for him , a
helper suited to his need." So the Lord created women. (2 Corinthian ch3,
verse3) " Eve was fooled by Satan in the Garden of Eden." And she mislead
Adam into sin and Exile form paradise. (Genesis ch3, verse16) " Then God said
to the woman, 'You shall bear children in intense pain and suffering. Yet even
so, you shall want your husbad to love you. And he shall be your master." So
women were forbidened to preach for they tended to mislead men. (1 corinthians
ch14, 34) "Women shall be silent during the church meeting. They are not to
speak. They shall follew the men like the Bible says." (1 Corinthians ch11,
verse3) ...I want to remind you that a wife follows her husband." And again in (1
Corinthians ch11, verse10) ...It is a sign that she follows a man's leading. This is
a fact for all angels to see and rejoice in." (Titus ch1 verse6-7) The men you
appoint must be well thought of for their good lives......verse7 ....These pasters
must be men of blameless lives. For they are to be God's ministers. They must
not be proud or impatient......" And the church is lead by men not because they
are arragent, but because it is the word of God and we have no choice but to
obey the Almighty.
"(Titus ch1, verse10) For ther are many who refuse to obey.......Is must be
stopped. Already whole families have been turned been turn away form to grace
of God. Such teachers are only after your money." And Bheathaamrois dealing
with the devils from the stepps have again proven your guilt. Now all of Christian
Europe knows how you sold them. 50% endless tribute of all incomes from the
Christian main land even the lord our God have never been given so much
offering. You worshiper of Satan. (1 Corinthians ch14, verse7) "If you love
someone, you will loyal to him , no matter what the cost. You will always believe
in him. You will always expect the best of him. You will always stand your ground
and defend him." Because you heathens hate the lord you have attact the
holycity looted the region, because you are not loyal to the lord you betrayed
him by weakening many Christian nations through warfare and putting them in
the mercy of the devil of the stepps, because you belong to Satan you did not
stand you ground and defend him instead you paid the devils from the stepps
and divided his people and ran to your Island.
"(2 Corinthians ch3, verse18) "We Chirstians have no veil over our faces.
We reflect the wondeful things of the lord. As God works in us, we become more
like him." We the true Christains have kept to our faith in our lord. We were not
the ones to disobey God. We did not perverted the Bible. We did not preach lies.
The Holy Bible can only be understood spiritualy, but you heathen have choosen
your own ways. You have gone against his word. You have gone against his
people. You have gone against his church. You have gone against him. You
have disobeyed him with your arragance and you pride.(Romans ch2, verse8) ...
he will terribly punish those who fight against the truth of God." and from the
ones who have suffers so much from your evil work will rise the swords that will
punish you Heathens. No longer can the lord wait for you to repent for you have
surely proven your are Satan's servent and Satan will never be forgiven."
