What had begun as a border dispute between Umma and the Dutch became a truly Global War in NH 559 when the Chinese invaded Siam. Meanwhile, the Spanish finally took an interest in their own fate, expelling the Ummans and issuing a proclamation that Spain is for Spaniards. Himrad and Denmark abandoned the war.
Unit conversion: 1cav or inf = 500 men ;1 warship or transport = 1 ship with a crew of 500; 1 artillery = 20 field guns with crews of 25; 1 sa = 1 cannon; 1 s = 50 catapults; wallpoints are 7'+3' per point high; a field fort is a castle with 500 men.

Denmark
Christian, King of Denmark
Diplomacy: Mohawk(ct) Ulster(ea)
Not only is Christian no longer helping the war effort, he also reestablished trade with Umman devils. He also wanted to begin trading with the Fatimids, but I got the Fatimid turn too late. Many troops were reserved. Connaught and Lienster were colonized to 2 gpv and filled with farm projects. Sudoua and Farpoint both expanded and the walls in Sudoua were torn down. The Balearics are now mostly Culdi. Lodin Svealaanson undid the VOC™'s work in Mohawk and convinced them to join the empire. Sagremor the Unruly captured Vater Jon Boy as he attempted to openly cross through the Gates of Hercules; Olaf Gooberson escaped to the Balearics.
Culdi Council
Flewellen, Scion of St. Camber
Consecration: no effect
Flewellen stayed home while his chancellor headed off to the Culdi colony of Kymia where he failed to establish an abbey in this outpost of the Culdi faith. Iceland is now entirely Culdi and influence in Holland continues to grow as more and more people convert. Flewellen still cannot exact a tithe from the Dutch -- the royal family must convert first.
The VOC™ (Hanseatic League)
Nicholas, Governor General of the VOC™
Capitalization: Gonbad(mf) Korong(mf) Bilafeza(mf)
VOC™ assassins managed to kidnap the two main Umman admirals in the Gate of Hercules. Six VOC™ galleons joined the Dutch fleet to battle the Ummans. They were all destroyed and their commander, Hugo III of Lubeck, was slain. VOC™ scouts helped the Dutch inflict heavy casualties on the Ummans.
In mercantile matters, the traders were extremely successful; they established factors in Gonbad (Afghanistan), Korong (China), and Bilafeza (Maori). Trade with these 3 nations is now possible. It's amazing what can be accomplished when a little money is spent on bribing the local authorities. The wastelands of Oulu and Vaasa were removed from the cartel's tax rolls.
Kroninkrijk der Nederlanden
Frederick Henry, King of the Dutch
Diplomacy: none
Frederick Henry managed to elude 6 separate attempts by the STIS© to kill him. The government was also well protected from further terrorist strikes by the traders while the Imam failed to kill any of his secret police. Wim Kessell, Hans de Ruyter and Jacob de Roos took a fleet of 169 ships to battle the Africans. In the first engagement, most of the ships were lost and Wim was killed while Jacob deserted. The Dutch fled to the Celtic Sea, where they were joined by Russian reinforcements. The Ummans sank the last of the Dutch ships and Hans de Ruyter died in battle. This meant that the Dutch coast was unprotected. A second fleet of Umman warships sailed into the Rhine and raided Burgundy and Alsace, prompting a rebellion in the latter. Talsan, of the Imamate, raided Poitou and Brittany and tried to raid Normandy with 16 warships. Poitou rebelled. The raids triggered a minor recession.
Most of the Dutch leaders remained in the capital, taking care of government business. The numbers of Culdis continue to increase -- in Anjou, Aquitaine, Lorraine and Lyonnais, the people are ready to rebel. More than 3/4 of the Dutch people are Culdi and they are anxious for their king to adopt the true faith. On the border, Gascony has converted to the Shining Path.
Moslem Emirate of Talavera
Joost van den Voondel, Adherent of the Shining Path
Diplomacy: none
The Ummans sent Joost 50 chests of gold; El Guapo of Spain arrived with 1 thousand chests of gold to ransom their king and bring Joost into the Spanish Kingdom. Meanwhile, all of Talavera has converted to Black Muslim. Rucat III of Umma was seen converting the populace, but he eluded capture.
Rokkid Spain
Juan Carlos, Malik al Andalus
Diplomacy: Emirate of Talavera(ea)
Van al infierno! Spain is for Spaniards! Not Europeans! Not Africans! We are Muslim, and so Spain shall remain! Consider this a warning, if you aren't me... GET OUT OF SPAIN! I will attack any nation invading Spain. I am sure that if one of you two (Africa and Europe) will not help me, the other will. Recently we attacked Umma. We shall attack the Dutch, Russians, Danes, Imam and STIS should they set foot in Spain as well. We are open to a peaceful resolution that involves us ruling Spain. We are also open to proposals from anyone that will assure Juan Carlos of ruling Spain.
-Franco, Vizier to the Great Juan Carlos
Franco took 85 warships through the Gates of Hercules, right past the Imam's fleet. He arrived in Murcia, hoping to support the siege of Murcia, but El Diablo and Gordo had things well in hand…
Generalisimo Gordo and El Diablo were given command of a newly commissioned army of 131,500 cavalry. They wanted to take the mercenaries with them, but the mercs wouldn't come along without being paid (that's what makes them mercenaries). They crossed into Umman held Murcia, where General Bababalouk and Prince Egano were preparing to head north into Valencia to wreak havoc upon the hated Dutch. The Ummans had 63,500 cavalry, 12,500 zebra riders and 480 guns plus 12,000 locals Murcian Black Muslims. The Spaniards had excellent scouting and numbers, but the Ummans had guns. Bababalouk was captured during the rout as the Ummans fled into the un-walled city of Madiera. 24,000 cavalry and 6500 zebra riders were all that was left of the Umman army; the Spanish lost 21,500 men. Another 11,500 Spaniards died in city fighting; all the remaining Umman troops were slain. Prince Egano escaped to Granada, the last Umman stronghold on the continent. Gordo died during the victory celebration. El Diablo hasn't rebelled yet, but with the entire Spanish army and navy under his command, he's thinking about it.
Black Muslim Talavera agreed to end the war between their nations and forge an economic union. Joost released Juan Carlos in a gesture of goodwill. The Spanish are running out of trade partners. Spain continues to convert to the Shining Path in droves.

Holy Roman Empire of Russia
Mikhail, Czar of Russia, Empress of the East
Diplomacy: none
STIS© agents managed to loot the unprotected Russian treasury -- almost half. A huge loan had to be taken out in order to continue the war and the nation's gold reserves were drawn down. The STIS© also destroyed a portion of the government.
All the Russian ships were lost in two disastrous battles with the Africans and the Jersey Islands, now entirely Black Muslim, were raided by the Imam. Admiral Kokushkin was killed and two other leaders were wounded, only Zossimov escaped unhurt. In the Gates of Hercules, the vigilant Sagremor captured Lushin; Sridrigaylov was wounded, but escaped. All the mercenaries were hired and Prince Yacob, Mikhail's brother, joined the army.
The ally from Chernigov discovered a group of black marketers in Odessa, despite efforts by the STIS© to cover up their factor. He burned it to the ground. He found nothing in Moldavia and Piotr had a similar lack of success in Dobruja and Thrace. The dredging of the Volga continues, and the Danes continue to send food. Levedia and Pereaslavl have accepted Christianity and Russian rule.
The Kingdom of ArmeniaNicostrato, Shah of Armenia, Tool of the Fatimids
Diplomacy: none
"Oh great Fatimid nation. Evil men have divided our peaceful nation. We are in a state of great change and fear that we will be unable to destroy these men without outside aid. We request your help in dealing with these traitors. Please use all of your available resources to crush them like the swine that they are. We thank you in advance for your assistance"
Nicostrato of Armenia
Nicostrato expected enemies to try to assassinate him. He was pleasantly disappointed. Trade was opened with the Fatimids for the first time since Acaasis had driven them from Armenian territory. All shipping was switched to the Fatimid trade route. The army was built up, just in case the Russians invade.
The Lydian League
Philostrato, Oligarch of Psidia
Diplomacy: none
Armenian assassins wounded Dioneo, then Fatimid assassins finished him off. Philostrato of Psidia assumed control of the league and the capital shifted to Psidia when the Fatimids conquered Lydia. Nothing revolted.

Rucat II, Sword of Islam
Diplomacy: Kabilya(ne) Algeria(ne) Oujda(a)
"Russia speaks nothing but prattle. Saying 'I want peace' is not enough. When things were looking good Russia wanted to settle things for the Dutch (who apparently are not strong enough to speak for themselves. Not that it would matter since only lies and double dealing came from the Dutch in the first place). Allah will remove from power those who do no respect and honor Him and his Representatives on Earth. Now that things look less appealing for the heretics they still want to get as they desired when they were in a better position. Many lives and much expense has gone into the effort to allow those in Spain to be free to choose the true path. NOTHING SHORT OF VICTORY WILL BE TOLERATED"
Sword of Islam
Some observers were offended by the combative tone of Rucat's speech. They expected an apology and the appearance of contrition.
Admirals Nouronihar and Masulipatan were kidnapped by the VOC™. The Russians also attempted to kidnap Masulipatan (the VOC™ got to him first). This left Alboufaki in charge of the great fleet (he escaped a third kidnap attempt by the traders.) The 465 galleons sailed north to the Bay of Biscay where they encountered a combined Dutch and Russian fleet in May of 1598 (Russian reinforcements had not yet arrived). Three Dutch leaders led the 139 Dutch galleons, 30 Dutch warships, 94 Russian warships and 20 Russian galleons. Six VOC™ galleons arrived just in time to join the battle. The Dutch had better leadership and scouting but the Ummans had a vast advantage in numbers and cannons. The European navy was shattered; the Dutch escaped to the Celtic Sea with 24 galleons, 1 warship plus 5 Russian galleons and 9 warships. The VOC™ managed to salvage a galleon. The Ummans were down to 292 galleons. Wim Kesell was slain and Jacob de Roos deserted. In October, the Umman Armada entered the Celtic Sea, where the European fleet had been reinforced by the arrival of 113 Russian Galleons with four Russian leaders. A total of 143 galleons and 10 warships faced down the Ummans. Again, superior numbers gave the victory to the Ummans. Only 9 Russian galleons escaped. The Ummans still have 196 galleons. Alboufaki continued to the North Sea, destroying the remaining Russians on the way, where he set up a patrol. Late in AH 1061, he rebelled. Umman assassins managed to kill him, although it means his fleet is now leaderless.
A second Umman fleet of 152 warships arrived in the Rhine in February of 560 AH. They split into two equal raiding parties; Haroun al Raschid hit Burgundy and Alsace, while Gioaur's party was unable to raid Swabia, and Franconia after a Swabian Assassin wounded him. So far, they're both still loyal.
The Ummans lost Murcia to a superior Spanish army. Prince Egano fled to Granada.
In Holland, Prince Motessam narrowly escaped capture when he sneaked in to try to kill the King. He was wounded by an angry mob. The Ummans tried to convince everyone that the Canaries still belong to them, but the Fatimid's open annexation of the island, with the help of the Imam, dispelled those rumors. The ally from Merrakesh convinced the Oujda Emir to join an alliance with Islam -- diplomacy in Merrakesh failed because of his absence. Princess Catherine tried to escape, but her Umman captors were too vigilant. In spite of the recent attack by El Diablo, Umman influence continues to grow in Spain.
Himrad Sultanette
Landeria III, Sultana of Dara, Heart of Islam
Diplomacy: Malta (ne) Radom(fa) Giri(ne) Tondou(t)
Douala(ne) Gezira(ne) Yaounde(ne)
Himrad withdrew from the war, confident that Malta is secure. Landeria went back to sending diplomats to friendly or depopulated regions. There was some success in the mountainous region of Tondou and the steppes of Radom. Himrad and Umman missionaries converted most of Valencia to Black Muslim; the ruling class has even adopted the new religion. Some warships were built. Landeria wanted to put them on trade functions in the Nile, but no one bothered to sail them around Africa. Makurra City (in Makurra) expanded. Slavery has been abolished and the recession is over.
The Imamate
Ayatollah Khomeni XVI, Guardian of the Shining Path Voice of Islam
Consecration: Saf Oujda(ca)
The Ayatollah continues to reform the Black Muslim religion, moving towards a celibate priesthood. Sagremor and Pricess Shalima guarded the Gates of Hercules from the Russians, Dutch, VOC™, Danes and Culdis. They were kept busy chasing Russian and Danish leaders moving openly through their blockade. Sagremor finally died, leaving the 68 holy galleons in Shalima's hands.
Admiral Talsan took 16 warships north and raided Poitou, Brittany, the Jersey Islands and Normandy. Due to the small size of the fleet, not much gold was gained -- although Poitou did rebel. He ended up in the English Channel.
Yxjsh IV attempted to assassinate the King of Holland, but failed miserably. She escaped into the streets of Amsterdam. Imamate diplomats convinced the Canary Islanders to join the Fatimids and nearly the convinced the Oujdans to repudiate the Ummans.
Mbundu, Land of Pagans
Okonkwo III, Last true afro-pagan on earth
Diplomacy: Cape (ea) Etosha(nt) Kabwe(ne)Ruvma(aw)
Mombassa (fa)
The big news in Mbundu is that the Renaissance has finally arrived -- all that money finally paid off. Okonkwo's diplomats and warriors finished collecting the rebel territories. The ally from Rozwi married Princess Kazi while Okonkwo III married the daughter of the chief of Mombassa, helping to secure his father-in-law's loyalty. Ruvma declared war on Okonkwa III.
Masai and Kimbu were defeated by an army of 17,000 zebra riders and were forced to believe in the Monkey God. Casualties were light for the Mbundans -- 1000 men in total.
Trade with Parana continues to cost the lives of brave, African sailors. Now that superior naval technology is within reach of the Mbundans, maybe this will change.

1,374,750 gold was stolen from the Russians (who don't pay much attention to internal security); also, part of the Russian government was destroyed. Jafa was spotted in Odessa, but escaped the Russians and hid in the alleys as the Russians burned down the secret STIS© base. An important cartel city in Siam was lost when the Chinese invaded Sri Lanka; fortunately, a merchant factor had just been established in Pa, preventing a complete loss of trade. The STIS© failed to gain a foothold in the rich port city of Somantha.
In the New World, Camille built a factor in Pacu, on the island of Ciboney, then joined up with the MCEGLP®, in defiance of her father. Someday, the STIS© will try to establish control to the New World instead of throwing away resources in such a manner.
Fatimid Caliphate
Al Haidi, Lady Caliph, Nation Killer, Shield of Islam
Diplomacy: Canary Islands(ce)
Always willing to help a friend in need, Al Haidi sent an army to destroy the Lydian rebels. General Alhaja took command of 35,000 infantry and 27,500 cavalry to attack Isauria. 5000 militia opposed the well-led Fatimid army. In less than a month, they were all dead and the city of Myra was captured. 5000 men were left to garrison the region. Next, the Fatimids crossed into Lydia. General Masetto met them with 36,000 peasants, pressed into service, and 12,000 professional cavalry. They were driven from the field and took refuge behind the 28' walls of Ephesus. 17 Warships closed the harbor and the Fatimids began to tear down the walls. Disease and desertion over the 6-month siege took their toll, reducing the Fatimid army to 17,500 infantry, 21,000 cavalry and 15 warships, but eventually, Ephesus fell and Masetto was captured. There was just enough time to militarily convert the area.
Princess Mahsa took a group of fanatics north to Edessa to conquer the Shiites of Edessa. The 4000 Sunni slaves they had with them slowed them down. The battle was a success, but there were many desertions, as these last remnants of the Millenium Jihad only wanted to kill Buddhists and Sunnis -- they are down to 3000 cavalry and 18,000 infantry. They militarily converted the region.
Adulis and Zeila have finally accepted Fatimid rule. Missionaries worked hard in Aswan, Aden, Dulaym, Rhodes and Ras Hafun. Ras Hafun is now fully converted and a Black Muslim revolution in Aswan has given the Shining Path majority control of the country. The Canaries became the Fatimid's first conduit.

Diplomacy: Ushrusana(t) Makran(ne) Mand(f) Luristan(f) Hormuz(nt) Khuttal(ea)
The Afghans continue to ignore the global warriors and continue to trade with both sides. Bukara, Nishapur and Tehran expanded and farm projects were placed in Kipchak, Khurasan and Bactria. Much diplomacy was done, although Makran continues to resist assimilation. VOC™ merchants visited the city of Gonbad and set up a factor.
Empire of Hindustan (Alimid)
Medak, Emperor of Hindustan, Maharaja of India, Sultan of Dehli, Caliph of the East
Diplomacy: Satava(a) Konkan(f) Bihar(f)
The Alimids launched an unsuspected attacked against their peaceful neighbors to the east. Poorly disguised terrorists attempted to destroy the government and kill the assassins in distant Siam. Siam, however, was well protected (when you're at peace, there's nothing to do with your intel except protect yourself). Trade has ceased between Hindustan and the economic giant.
Meanwhile, Medak turned virtually the entire army over to General Jabbar and the navy over to Admiral Murad. Neither of these ambitious leaders has revolted yet.
Trade began with the Mbundans in earnest and warships were assigned to many of the trade routes to discourage piracy -- it worked. Diplomatic efforts accompanied by large sums of cash continue to be successful. Cities were expanded in Bihar, Chela, Dahala, Kakatiya, the Maldives, Socotra, Konkan, Satava and Gujarat. Fortresses throughout the country were strengthened (just in case the Siamese take offense.) The devotion of the people continues to grow. Medak's son, Siraaj, joined the government. A big investment was made in the university system.

Diplomacy: Dhera-Dun(nt)
The Tibetans began to take an interest in internal religious matters. Missionaries were sent to Fucheng, Lanchou, Pa'tang, and Qinghai. Cities built in Lanchou and Fucheng by Buddhist settlers helped establish Lamaist Buddhist minorities in these regions. Tinsukia, Kathmandu and Lhasa expanded and some more ships were added to the coastal fleet. The Tibetans continue to be uninterested in the world beyond their own borders -- one of the few nations not participating in the Global War. Sujisan brought both her son and daughter into the government and sent them out to spread the faith.

Sian Kambujadesa
Rama VI, God Emperor of Siam
Diplomacy: Kutch(ct) Sri Lanka(f-but lost)
Late in NH 559, the Chinese, who had created Siam centuries ago, launched an unprovoked attack. The Siamese reaction army was unable to defeat the vastly superior force in Lampang, but they kill enough Chinese soldiers that in the subsequent battle for the homeland the Siamese home army had enough of an advantage in numbers to utterly destroy the Chinese army. They also captured Chancellor Mao of China. There are 13,000 elite and 97,000 regular cavalry, 75,000 infantry, 31 castles, 1200 artillery, 40 siege guns and 2100 catapults left for defense and 8500 elite, 29,000 regular cavalry and 6500 infantry in the reaction army.
Early in 560 NH, a large Chinese navy bound for Sri Lanka entered Siamese waters. Prince Khatra attempted to halt them with 46 elite warships, 67 warships and 10 galleons, but was obliterated. 24 Chinese warships, 16 elite warships, 1 transport and 3 galleons were sunk (along with 3000 cavalry and 40 guns). Sri Lanka was captured without further difficulties. The planned expansion of Colombo had to be postponed. Trade with Africa and the Middle East is a little more difficult now and trade with the STIS© has been greatly reduced by the loss of the cartel city on Sri Lanka. The Siamese have survived the first wave of Chinese invaders.
Late in 560 NH, Indravarman III died of old age, leaving the ceremonial post of God Emperor to his son, Rama VI. Missionary activity took place in Turhut, Burma, Laos, Annam and Perak. Seylan is now entirely Therevada Buddhist. A city was built on the Sunni Island of Kutch. Dvaravati is now cultivated. Projects placed in Annam and Maghada have turned these regions intensely cultivated. The university got bigger.

Da Huang Chinese Empire
Lao Hao, Ruler of the World
Diplomacy: Liangche(ne) Barat(ne)
When news reached Lao Hao that the hated STIS© had been allowed to enter Siamese territory, the Chinese emperor was furious. In order to root out the belligerent traders a huge army was sent to attack the Siamese homeland while a navy was sent to disrupt trade. Spies and assassins had no effect against the well-protected Siamese intel service, in spite of considerable effort on the part of the Chinese.
Chancellor Mao and his companion, General Che, took an army of 50,000 elite knights, 100,000 heavily armored horsemen, 200,000 heavy footmen and 1200 guns along the Road of Spiders to Kayah. They crossed the mountain into Lampang where they were met by a Siamese reaction army of 12,500 elite horsemen, 75,000 regular cavalry, 100,000 foot soldiers, 1200 guns and 80 elite guns. After two months of battle in the wilderness region, the Siamese were forced to flee the battlefield with 9000 elite cavalry, 34,500 cavalry and 10,500 infantry. The Chinese had lost 4000 elite and 16,500 heavy cavalry along with 52,000 infantry and 120 guns -- Mao was captured. They seized the un-walled city without further difficulties then continued to Siam.
The Siamese home army consisted of 13,500 elite cavalry, 113,000 regular horsemen, 119,000 infantry, 40 castles, 1420 guns, 50 cannons and 2500 catapults in addition to the 54,000 survivors of the reaction army and 16,000 peasant levies. With the numerical advantage and their fortified positions, the Siamese were able to rout the Chinese army, although the greatest Siamese leader, Prime Minister Golbasto, was killed. Chinese general, Che, was killed in flight. 88,000 Chinese knights, nearly half elite, and 22,000 heavy footmen are all that are left, the artillery being abandoned in flight.
Jai-Qui Chan hired 14,500 mercenaries and took them and his own force of 23,000 cavalry to do battle with Wen Fu's rebels. Wen Fu had rebelled with 66,000 troops just 3 years previously, so Jai-qui was taking a risk in attacking them. Still loyal Khwarzim didn't have to be attacked (in fact they've now forgiven the Chinese for past offenses) so they continued on to Bogazgol. The great wall had fallen into ruins, making the attack easier. The 9000 man rebel garrison was slain to the man. The Chinese lost 2000 men, half mercenaries. A large garrison had to be left to keep this unruly province in line. In Kul'sary, Jai-qui met Wen Fu in battle. The once mighty Kul'sary army had been diminished to 10,500 by desertions. Now facing 14,000 cavalry and 13,500 mercenaries, the rebels were destroyed. Wen Fu escaped the carnage. Another garrison further depleted the army as they continued on to Cim. A nomadic chieftan with 7000 cavalry had to be defeated and virtually Jai-qui's entire army had to be left. Cities in Kul'sary and Cim are gone due to the famine, while starvation greatly reduced the size of Bekdas, in Bogazgol. The road system from Khwarzim to Yayik is in ruins.
Admiral Fibe Ma was given a fleet of 28 transports, 200 warships, 150 elite warships and 50 galleons and loaded them with troops. He set sail for Barat, where he picked up another 100 elite warships. Then, in accordance with the time honored Chinese tradition of sending large numbers of troops far beyond the CCR, he traveled to Sri Lanka, pausing momentarily to destroy a Siamese reaction fleet (see Siam turn). He landed on the island and quickly subjugated the hapless populace, with his army of 33,500 cavalry and 680 elite artillery. He lost 3000 cavalry and 20 guns fighting the 15,000 defenders, led by Rama VI. The Siamese prince was wounded. The city of Colombo, an STIS© cartel city, was captured. Then Fibe Ma revolted.
Bogazgol revolted late in NH 560. The garrison put down the rebellion, but lost enough troops that they had to retreat inside the city, leaving the countryside in rebel hands -- at least Jai-qui is still loyal. Ravinia is now cultivated. China continues to slowly convert to Shinto and is now tech 9. A huge investment was made in the university system. Pirates continue to plague the Mataram trade route.
Nagatobi Shounate
Ari, 94th Emperor of Nihon
Diplomacy: none
Terrified by the defeat of Taisho Sanyo, the Japanese remained on alert in Kodiak, expecting retribution from the fierce Bengkhali. The commander, Shokuu Yohan, was given a large sum of money to insure his loyalty. So far, it's working.
Ari named his son, Ari II, as heir -- disappointing Prince Juno. Ari exiled his aunt, as a suspected Ponapean spy. Young prince Judokan was drafted into the government. Pirates raided the lucrative Siamese trade route. Totori grew to size 8 and more ships were assigned to the Chinese trade route. China continues to slowly convert to Shinto -- they could be converting more quickly, but most of the Shinto priest were out trying to convert Pagans beyond the furthest reaches of their empire. Okinawa is 60% Shinto. Yonkon Noriko searched in vain for secret societies in Kwanto.

A few more men were drafted into the army, just in case the Japanese send any more goodwill missions to the New World. Taishou Sanyo, the Pirate King, returned to Tolowa in ZR 216 after sailing aimlessly in the Atlantic for two years. He raided the region easily; Okwang was busy ruling for the first few months and by the time he responded, the swift renaissance ships had vanished with their plunder. He's off the coast of Tolowa.
Diplomatic missions brought Klamath and Yoruk into the fold. The clerics are demanding a bigger budget so they can return to reforming the Holakachina faith. San Fonsisko expanded and the walls were rebuilt.
The Requela Kingdom
Chitaotin II, Keeper of the Tikal Codex
Diplomacy: Huastec(f)
The Yaquis finished off the pitiful remnants of the Tepehuan army. The young Yaqui leader, Yazzi, was captured and carried off by the handful of surviving Requelans. His father attempted to raid Tepehuan, but there was not much to plunder in the mountainous region. Then headed for Mogollon…
Meanwhile, the Tamaulipec ally traveled to Culiacan (which took a year) where he was given 5000 soldiers to help the 3000 of his own. He went Yaqui hunting, catching them as they attempted to raid Mogollon. All 5000 of the remaining savages were killed; the Requelans lost only 500 men. The Yaqui chief escaped.
Chitaotin II decided he had too many female relations underfoot. He sent 2 of his sisters and 4 daughters, ranging in age from 38 to 16, to be married to the Huastec ally. He also had his son, Chitaotin III, marry the Huastec ally's daughter. The ally turned over his kingdom as a dowry, then retired to the quiet countryside to enjoy the company of his 6 new wives.
The Requelans failed to steal new technology from Taishou; attempts to reform the religion also failed. A postal road was completed from Pemayo to Tuxpan and construction began on a road from Pemayo to Huatabampo.
