Turn 28 Orders Due Back By:
Friday, May 12thAnnouncements
I finally remembered, thanks to Bob Chase and Lee Foster for pointing it out, to add Bowmen to the official build chart on the Lords 7 website. Thanks guys.
Colored maps. Many people want them, I'm working on them. I am going to mail these out, as opposed to posting them at this time (I am afraid I just don't have the time to scan/clean/paint/post/update to do these on a regular basis on-line)
IMPORTANT: I found a bug in the stat database dealing with Feudal Allies. The program was incorrectly figuring out how much troop support was. Instead of multiplying the FA’s support cost by 0 (making FA troops free) it was multiplying the support cost by –10. The end result was that some people had a negative troop support. Some people may notice a jump in troop support because of this correcting. If you are one of those people contact me, we will work something out.
If you know of anyone who is looking to join a game, send them to me. I’d like to get some of the newly opened nation filled, as well as some not so apparent positions filled also.

Awards!
As made traditional in other LOTE games. The Turn from Hell award will be awarded to the player whose turn gave me the largest headache. J
Lord: Yamato, Ron Meinung
Vagabond: Saffarids, no one ever put them back together after their DF about 20 turns ago.
Rules Errata and Reminders
Regional Cultivation: It appears the rules have changed (and I agree with it). As SOON as your done paying for a Regional Cultivation the region goes cultivate. You no longer have to wait the 50 year's to realize the change.
Trading changes: Ok a few changes coming up that you should all know about. First off I have been a bit lenient on the rule that you can have up to 20x the GPV of the city. Which means in for have a level 1 city you can only have 20 MSP (total, not per trade route) of trade. The following list is of what type of transports and how many MSP they have, this is a change for some people
1LT has 2MSP
1T has 3MSP
1HT has 4MSP
Homelands: Homelands now produce double tax rate, (Yes this includes PW's in your homeland as well) as per the new LOTE 5.6 rule set.
Tithe Income: If you're paying a tithe to a Religious Primate and the rate of the tithe is less than 5% then there is no effect to you; you do not lose any money. If the rate of the Tithe is greater than 5%, then you lose 1% of Tax Rate for each percentage point of the tithe over 5.
Elite troops: They are available to be built/trained when you achieve tech level 5 or greater, this represents how well your troops are versed in combat
Slaves on ships: After some thought and discussions there is a change on slaves and their movements. While on Transports or warships, the ships will move their normal BAC a turn, instead of the 2 BAC that slave’s get.

Grand Pooba finished reading off the incantation for judging the truth and made his way to the dungeon. The sect leaders captured had so far been able to keep their mouths shut, but sooner or later they would speak. When Pooba opened the door's to their cell he was caught off guard by a dart that pierced his left shoulder. Almost immediately Pooba knew he was in trouble for the pain burned like fire, and was not contained to the are of the wound. Rough hands from the escaped prisoner grabbed him and pulled the holy Pooba's face just inches in front of his, and the last thing Pooba heard from the Earth was the sneers of his assassin.

TRorig so did love beating people up, but unlike his Norse brothers, he did not beat up on the Slav's, his people of choice were the Spaniards. The regions of Portugal, Galactia, Asurias, and Gascony were raided
Norse Christian Church -
TIle De France and the city of Kiev were converted to the true faith. The children of the Rus royal line were promoted to Bishop's in the church.
The Great University saw massive growth after Father Elrich 'asked' the Norse and the Rus for more manpower to build the walls, and the like. Never has a question sounded more like a command.
Norse -
TThe dagger, and note that had was on it, that had killed Halfdan was sent to the Norse Christian University to see if any clues could be found as to who did the evil deed.
Hrafnkell was feeling a little less manly then he should have, to remedy this problem he decided to beat up the Slob's 'Sir, that’s Slav's' chirped in his Roman squire 'Same thing.' So in 987AD the region of Little Poland was once again beaten to a pulp, but instead of just leaving it at that, the city of Jal was sacked and burned.
Rognvald spent a lot of time on his balcony, enjoying the little nasty gram he received from IuVov.
"Greeks, Ha! It figures." Thorkell agreed and added "A name like that doesn't have a thing to do with women! More to do with boys I believe, if you know what I mean. Wink wink." Rognvald laughed hardly "Yea, the circle's and hearts over the letter I's give it away but look, the use of pink, unicorns, and 'My little ponies' now that's a Latin touch, don't you think? Har, har, har. "
"Furthermore, may the God's bless that great Buryat beast! Ogozud, now he and most of his ancestors, they know how to deal with these limp-wristed, face slapping, alley whores. To his health!"
"Here's one for IuVov, rifhxula Your from the first group, on the bottom of course!"
(GE Note: This is ALMOST what its supposed to be, after 45 minutes of searching for the correct fonts, I gave up, the only thing wrong is the f please change the top line to a dot, and you have what is said.)
In the summer of 989AD Rognvald was once again on his balcony drinking his 'Genius' Beer from his brother's in England, when an arrow struck him in his heart, killing him instantly. On the arrow was another note, reading:
"The time for fun and games is over. We will no longer take your insults and not respond, for every insult you offer, we will kill one leader. I hope you don't trip on your skirts as you run in fear" -IuVov
Frankish Kingdom of Germany -

Roman Republic -
WRicardo continued to build Rome into a country that he can be proud of.
Kron and Florence were both expanded in size.

WAlexandra passed away in the early spring of 986AD. His son Alexander II was crowned King. While many speak of his wits and brawn being slightly lacking, all admit he is a lovable King, who means well.
The Ally from Cilicia was tossed by his horse on the road to Vaspurakan, and he died from those injuries. The people of Cilicia had long been part of the Empire and elected to go friendly.

After almost a yearlong voyage the tattered remains of the near starving sailors and dilapidated ships land in a region called Herero. The only leader who died was Distelfink, he slipped off the boat during a massive rain storm. After everyone scavenged the land for food they built a city and named it Bubblicious in honor of the new Queen. Trade was opened with Mali, Ghana, and the Boliafna Empire
