Turns went buy pretty quickly after I managed to sit down for 8 hours straight and played with them. I have to admit, I forgot how much fun it can be running a Lords campaign until the past 2 turns, thanks. :>

Every day a turn is late all leaders will suffer a –1 BAC per year, up to 7 days, then all leaders will not move, and only investments and builds will get done. This will hopefully make it so I don’t have to undo a full nations turn who’s neighbors have turned in a turn late.

If you know of any player who has told you that they dropped, and I still have them as playing an open nation, please contact me and let me know, it will make life easier for me.

Also you may notice that some nations have been opened up. I am ousting people who I have not been able to either get a hold of, or have not been getting turns from at all.

If you know of anyone who is looking to join a game, send them to me. ;> I’d like to get some of the newly opened nation filled, as well as some not so apparent positions filled also.

Rules Errata and Reminders
Tithe Income: If you are paying a tithe to a Religious Primate and the rate of the tithe is less than 5% then there is no effect to you; you do not lose any money. If the rate of the Tithe is greater than 5%, then you lose 1% of Tax Rate for each percentage point of the tithe over 5.

Elite troops: They are available to be built/trained when you achieve tech level 5 or greater, this represents how well your troops are versed in combat

SLAVES ON SHIPS: After some thought and discussions there is a change on slaves and their movements. While on Transports or warships, the ships will move their normal BAC a turn, instead of the 2 BAC that slaves get.

LoPan spent his time in the gardens with his wife, producing 3 children, two boys, and a girl, strengthening his family line. His wife Chawan-Xi nearly died during the last child’s birth, and is still recovering. The doctors weighed the boy at an astounding 15 pounds, 4 ounces.

His brother, Liu Chang was found strangled to death in 967, in his own bed no less.

Oda Kimitsu and Ihara Saikaku went to Taiwan to try to bring that region into the folds. After 4 years of intense discussion and bargaining Taiwan became Friendly. Oda Tsuga spent his time in Koguryo converting the Buddhist's to the national religion of Shintoism.

In May of 966 Oda Koza did not wake up, and his eldest son, while only 11 at the time was proclaimed King, and his mother regent until he turned 15. Many nobles tried to prevent the new King from ascending the throne, but to the dismay of many, the royal guards and the military supported him, despite his bad habits.

Jeolo went into seclusion after his wife died in childbirth in 966, and has not left his imperial castle since then. Many people wonder if he lost his mind, or at very lest his spirit.

Jeolo’s eldest son, Qui-on has taken over running the day to day doing of the empire, and many people suddenly realized that they don’t much like him.

Somewhere in the mountains…

A black clad figure slowly pulls an old tattered book off a shelf. Gently she lays the book upon a simple desk of dark stained wood, with only a brass candelabrum with lit candles, ink well, quill, and a blank scroll. Gently she blows the decades worth of dust from the book and she starts to smile. The Gurjaran king, Fung Dat, had found this book long ago, on accident while her predecessor had been looking for the better part of 70 years looking for it. When he opened his great library he couldn’t have known the knowledge he had unleashed upon the world.

As she scanned the tome for the chapter she wanted to check her smile slowly vanished and a slight frown replaced it. The Gems of Rilyeth and their functions, her hand started coping from the book, and a plan was beginning to forming.

Shiasta stood on the dock and watched the massive fleet set sail, many thought her orders were a joke, but she knew better. Like her Grandfather Fung Dat, she would be judged by those in the future, not by the small minded people of the present.

Summer of 963AD the world learned of her orders, the massive fleet caused the Axum nation to call back all naval commands until they vanished heading north in the Red Sea. They docked in Mansura, unloaded the multitudes of people, and settled Mansura and Egypt, built the city of New Dehli in Mansua, and started building the Necho’s Canal

January 964 Shiasta died at the dinner table, while eating Chicken cordon blue she choked on a chicken bone. Her son Varunrajak took over with only a few minor rebels having their heads removed.

Spring of 964 the learned men from the university who had been sent out to the Andamen Islands to research a strange finding came back and reported, with much excitement, to King Varunrajak and other men of knoledge.

"… Thank you all again for coming to hear what we found at the Islands, after many years of studding, comparing, and researching we can firmly say that the out cropping of metal and rocks seem to closely resemble the sight called Stonehendge in England. It acts like a massive calendar and time keeping device, but there seems to be more, in the middle, of the center circle there is a large rock slab with a small perfect circle whole. We feel that this is meant to be there, not from erosion, which begs the question, what is missing, and what happens when it is returned to its proper position?"

I have been in contact with our long time allies to the north, the mighty Gurjara. Their ruler has agreed to take over the duties of ruler for our nation. I will be sending my son, Tarii, to Gurjara as an emissary of the Rastan People to Queen Shiata. He too has received a vision. He was not meant to lead the souls of the Hindu people, but to unify the nations of India into one great nation. He will assist the Queen and ensure that our way of life is smoothly merged into the Gurjaran’s.

A great day is upon us. Our Destiny is before us. Now we must reach out, and grab it before it slips away. A blessing on you all my children. Welcome your brothers and sisters into the greater family of the Hindu nation. Rejoice!"

With that Pooba stepped aside as king, sent all government bodies to Gujara, and took all who wished to support the church to his tempory dwellings in Manyakhsta.

Bishops were sent to Gujara to help merge former regions of Rastan Empire into the Gujaran Empire. Other bishops were sent to all regions building monasteries for the new pontiff of the Hindu faith.

Now that the horsemen had been vanquished, and Pooba had cast off his nation and had become a true primate steps were taken to insure that Gurjara would not be the only benefactor of the new Hindu Primate.
Many people have asked the unnamed King to please pick a name, but to this point he has enjoyed not having a name.

Crowned Prince Ogozud led the army through Mosul, Palmyra, Syria, and into Jordon where he ran into the meager army of the Jew’s. Out numbering them at the levels of 6 to one the Jewish army was destroyed. After the quick combat Ogozud attacked Petra, and then moved into Levant, where the few remaining Jewish troops tried to stop the avalanche of horsemen. Ogozud ordered his men to enslave the whole region and put the slaves to work to better the place for his people.

Lebanon was next, the whole population was enslaved and marched to Palmyra to build parks and public toilets.

In Mosul Tazadai and his troops ran across a hidden temple of the Army of Allah and quickly slew the 500 cavalrymen hiding there.

Levant was repopulated to 5 GPV’s all who call Bantu king.

After a long rest Odgen started improving his nation, military was reorganized, canals and parks were built in Persia, and trade routs were looked at and changed a bit.

The Ally from Zagros, one Akbar Islabinbin was walking in one of the less savory section of Persia when he was jumped by an angry mob and lynched for supposedly being a heretic.

He silently cursed Boris and this hair brained plot of his, again. Who in their right mind would live in the frozen wasteland. Even these blond giants should have enough brains to figure out that its better where its warmer. Then again these are the same fool’s that bow to this Norse Church, what a scheme. Maybe after this job he could run a scheme like the Norse church is.

The guards walked by his hiding place again, after he turned the corner the assassin quickly entered the palace. He made good time reaching the room of the King and his wife, and the well-oiled door swung in without a sound. The King was snoring so loud that it was a wonder that the queen could sleep, but the object that he was sent for wasn’t there. After a few moments of searching, the would be burglar left the same way he made it in.
 

Norman Empire - T

Roland sent Sir Robert of York and Ned of Flanders to retrieve the head of his once son, now trator,0 and bring it home.

The smallish Norman army (2000 Cavalry, 2500 Bowmen, and 2500 siege engineers) landed in Flanders July, where Ned had his merry band of 38,500 Axemen ready for the fun. Together they attacked and looted Vermandois, and then they entered Nivernais. There they ran into the French command, 5,500 Heavy Pike supplemented with mercenaries 10,500 Infantry, 6500 cavalry, and 7000 Bowmen. Ned’s men in sheer numbers won the day, the mercenaries either ran off, or surrendered soon after the Frenchmen were overwhelmed.

When Sir Robert of York returned he found Roland sitting on the dock, drinking some dark brown ale. ‘You know Robert, I think Rognvald would like this stuff, I’m not to fond of it. See to it that he gets the rest of the case of this ‘Genius’.

Duchy of France - W

Balder was besieged on 3 of 4 sides, to the east the Germans raided Hainaut, and Champagne, a month later they sent another army to capture Burgundy. While from the north the Normans came, and overwhelmed his small nation. In the battle Balder managed to kill Ned of Flanders, but he himself was killed by a falling horse.

Norse Christian Church - T

Elrich sent word out that all faithful nation were to donate men and gold for a great monolith. Surprisingly the Rus sent the most, and they were not even Norse Christian at the time. A massive Monolith of learning was built in the region of Adger, and word was sent that the Norse Christian’s were interested in all knowledge, for knowledge is good.

Bishops were sent forth to help the Rus convert to the one true religion.

Halfdane was sent forth to explore the fringes of the known world, and to find the mythical Iceland, and to everyone’s surprise he returned after finding it. Granted the natives are Culdi Christians and didn’t much like The Roman Catholic’s, but they seem to get along with the Norse Christian.

Ulf Erickson and Egil Ragnarson were sent raiding again, but in Prussia they were attacked by a larger Slavic army, and lost 1500 men and their transports.

King Rognvald himself over saw the raiding of Holland, Frieslad, and Holstien. When he returned he took time away from all the pencil necked geeks in his tax collection department and lounged on his new balcony. There he sampled some of the new Ale from his friend in England, called ‘Genius’.

Kingdom of Aquitaine - W

King Fillipo sent his son and his ally from Limosin to destroy the traitor Sadato for revolting against him.

The small army consisted of 8000 Infantry, 5000 Bow, 1500 Siege, 3000 Cavalry, and 2500 heavy axe men. They met the national army of Portugal on the fields between Portugal and Galacia. The Portugal had 10000 Pike, and 3000 bow. The squeamish was fairly quick, both sides took heavy loses, but Caliphate Sadato took an arrow to his chest, and the defenders of Lisbon lost heart when he died.

Jabo scorched the city of Lisbon, and sang camp fire songs around it, and then continued his vougage home, raiding all regions that had sided with Sadato.

Frankish Kingdom of Germany - U

Maxmillian ordered all references to him being the last of the Catholics to be terminated. Couriers were sent to the north, south and east, yet no one knows whom they were for.

Maxmillian also saw fresh blood to the west and ordered an attack on the upstarts in France. The regions of Hainaut and Champagne were raided. In Champagne the French finally arrived and fielded their army as the German finished pillaging the coffers of the young and headed home.

Burgundy was pacified on another front of the War.

Yet another 5 years of slumber for this once mighty church., might be open for new player.

Ragnar sent his son, and crowned heir south as a test of his manhood, and was pleased by the results. The regions of Levant, Lebanon, Aleppo, Cilicia, and Cyprus were raided. When his minister of foreign affairs informed him that the Buryt owns Aleppo, Ragnar said "He owns us, and this raid come close for his raiding us many years ago."

Prince Oleg managed to finally understand some of the language of Fujian, enough to convince them to become Economic Allies.

And for a change the Rus didn’t have a massive DF when they converted to Norse Christian, in fact the only region left was Smolensik.

Karim sent forth the word to expand the trade force of his growing nation. All trade routs at least doubled in trade ships, and 4 new trade routs to the south and east were opened. The cities of Fez, Merrakesh, Bizertal, Seville, and El Kala were expanded for the new trade ships. Massive public works were ordered to be built around Morroco to try to boost tourism.

The Refugees left over from the Ummayds and the Oghuzvids were finally settled in Cheliff, Corsica, Kabilya, Morroco, Tunisia, and Algeria. Now there are no longer any homeless people hanging around his home begging for land or gold.

With all the economic growth the military was not overlooked, warships were upgraded and refitted, and many troops were retrained and upgraded weapons.

Anissa was returning from a successful 8 months of diplomacy with the region of Algeria, when his horse reared up from seeing a snake, and through the heir, head first into a sharp stone.

Basim Ibn Omar slipped off the dock while watching one of the new trade vessels set sail and drowned.

Come, look at the bizarre creatures he have gathered for all to see".

Phill nearly had a heart attack when he heard that the Gurjaran navy was sighted in the Red Sea, when he learned that they were just transports, he killed the squire who brought word to him.

For our God has not said to abandon our home, but seek safety whilst our brave Soldiers of the Faith purify the land so we may return. And in doing so we shall be completing our promise to God who will, in turn, make this our Promised Land. Now is the time to act! Prepare, lest ye be cast into the great Evil Nothingness. With that a massive road project was initiated. With a loan from the Nation Bank of Auum, and a mass Conscript ordered there are now royal Roads from Arica to Guanacane to Characa to Ornaguaca to Abipon and finially to Minuane to the Sea on the Atlanic.

Baby gave birth to two children and continued to research to try to find out what has been happening to her small nation

Prince Harry broke out of his cell one night (He was one of many who had become feeble-minded) and was last seen running to the north babbling about having to respond to the call of ‘the great one’. Damyion (another feeble-minded soul) wanted to go forth and convert the heathen rocks of the mountain to the one true religion, but went fishing instead. Lucretia (The last of the insane bunch) kept mumbling that the hands of the evil one’s were fast approaching, and acted more and more like a hunted animal.

Lieutenant Satan continued his search for answers, and found a small hut near an outcropping of stones in the region of Uru, what drew him to it was a strange statue in front of the hut. It was two people in combat, but instead of being out of Stone or Iron, the statue was made out of something black, and cool to the touch, except for one of the weapons, a staff of silver.

"You seek information, do you not?" a voice from the hut calls out, "Enter and ask, Ogra knows all, and for the right price she shares information"

"You mean you will not help your own nation?"

"Pah, my nation, Auum was a twinkle in the Queens Mothers, Mothers, Mothers, Fathers, Fathers Eye when I built this small house, I pay my taxes and you have left me alone. We’ll discuss my price when you enter"

Satan, while not comfortable with the situation, but he had dealt with worse, slowly pulled aside the hanging beads that made up the front door and entered…

When Satan returned to Queen Baby he had a gray streak in his hair, and looked much older.

Moctezuma, after getting the lords of Tepanec to join the Maya nation died on his way to Huexotla.

Tlaxcala II was promoted to heir, and watched under Aztecas’s close eye was trained on the workings of the government. Catavino was sent south to survey the land and promote the greatness of Maya to the locals

Trade was expanded on both sides of the might nation, to the east more ships were sent south, and on the west side, a large fleet of ships started to promote internal trade among the nation.
