WHAT IS THIS???       Lords of the Earth is a play-by-email game of politics, economics, exploration and war. Basically, you're the king or queen of a medieval or Renaissance nation and struggle to better your realm, usually at the expense of other nations (and players). Besides land-hungry empires, there are religious Primacies, Merchant Houses, and secret societies with their own dark agendas.       The Lords Four campaign is being shaped by two recent events:      (1) a near-hit by a comet whose after-effects raised the intelligence of certain animals (with resulting behavior changes, usually for the worse)      (2) the discovery in remote areas of creatures (usually dangerous) long believed extinct. CAMPAIGN SPECIFIC RULES
     Lords Four combat includes the concept of ranged weapons. Units with these exchange fire before standard combat, and the resulting casualties are deducted before standard combat is resolved. GAMESMASTER REQUIREMENTS
     A couple things to keep the GM happy:
(1) Account balances MUST be $5 or more or else turn will not be processed. Seriously.
(2) New template MUST be used or else turn will not be processed. Seriously. Non-standard turnsheets just make it harder (and slower) for me. Download turnsheet template
